The Bodrum Blue Cruise is an exciting trip, where members can witness natural beauty, interesting historical ruins and learn about ancient Greek legends.

Spectacular Nature, Fascinating History and Mysterious Legends 

Bodrum is an important tourism center and well loved holiday destination due to its many charming features. The tour will depart at 4:00 pm from Bodrum, the route will guide us to pleasing swimming spots, spectacular bays and we will also visit many historical sites. Our journey will start by visiting Halicarnassus Mausoleum. It is one of the seven wonders of the ancient world and was the greatest achievement of Carian King Mausolus, who moved his capital from Mylasa to Halicarnassus. Tour members can explore the remains of pre-Mausoleum stairways and tombs, the narrow entry to Mausolus' tomb chamber, the original drainage systems, and large fluted marble column drums. The final stop of our tour for today is Bodrum Castle and Underwater Archeology Museum, which was established within Bodrum Castle in 1964. There are 14 exhibition halls to visit, most of which include underwater artifacts and shipwrecks.

Today will start by visiting the beautiful Orak Island. The 56 thousand square meter island is only accessible by boat and is a perfect location for swimming and snorkeling due to its pristine waters. Home to two sheltered bays one in the east and one in the north, this area is a paradise, where many olive trees can be seen on the land and an abundance of marine life can be seen in the water. It is also a very popular destination to witness the magnificent loggerhead turtles. We will then visit Cokertme Bay, surrounded by large mountains where many different shades of green and blue can be seen. Within this area tour members can expect a peaceful atmosphere, a lovely beach, clear waters for swimming and an abundance of nature. The area is charming and is well known for its fishing boats and traditional carpet-weaving.

Sedir Island also known as Cleopatra Island or City Island is a beautiful area that is situated in the Gulf of Gokova. This stunning place is mainly known as being home to Cleopatra Beach which has been the subject of many fascinating myths and legends throughout its history. According to legends, Cleopatra and Mark Antony once visited the island during their love affair. She was so overwhelmed with the island’s natural beauty, the lovers imported golden sands from Egypt to create the perfect beach. It is made of tiny, perfectly round sand particles and is unlike any other in the region. Tour members will also have the opportunity to visit The Ancient City of Kedrai. Ruins such as city walls and an antique theater can be found scattered around the island. The ruins on the eastern side of the island date back to the Romans times, where an ancient Agora can be found. It is also believed that athletics festivals were organized on this part of the island to honor Apollo. We will then visit the English Port which was once a &nbsp;place where British naval vessels sheltered and hid during the Second World War. &nbsp;This area is well loved due to its small and large coves which provide perfect shelter for overnight stays.

Today will be spent exploring the beautiful village of Karacasogut, which lies 24 kilometers from the well known holiday destination of Marmaris. This area is popular for Blue Cruise tours due to its abundance of green nature and clear blue seas. It is home to a wonderful bay with a small marina and pier, some restaurants and markets and nature walking trails can also be found. Within the village there is an impressive waterfall that forms a natural pool and a fabulous cave. The area also showcases history and tour members can see the city necropolis, the remains of fortifications, rock tombs, cisterns and the remains of an ancient temple.

Longoz Bay is one of the most beautiful bays in the Gulf of Gokova and it will be our first stop for today. The sheltered cove is home to clear water and surrounded by forested areas, perfect for a refreshing swim in a spectacular and tranquil environment. We will continue on with our bay hopping journey to Tuzla Bay which is situated in the charming fisherman's village of Tuzla. Within recent years it has become famous for its restaurants, and especially locally caught seafood. Many of the local people here are farmers and bee-keepers and along with the many birds that visit the area, tour members can indulge in the vast amount of beauty that this area holds.

We will begin our cruise to the Seven Islands, the area is full of many small islands and coral reefs, and will provide a perfect day for swimming, snorkeling and relaxing. We will then take a stop at Uzun Liman also known as Long Port. This charming 0.5 mile wide bay is covered with scented pine trees and an abundance of nature. Continuing with our bay hopping journey we will visit the natural Kufre Bay, where guests can enjoy taking a leisurely walk on the shore or through the lovely Gulluk Forest. Moving on we will visit Camalti Bay, which lies in front of a low coastline on a forest road that connects all the surrounding bays to the severn islands. Large pine trees surround the area extending down to the small gray gravel beach and glistening sea. This secluded and unspoiled area is easily accessible with the favored means of travel being by boat. Surrounded by highly vegetated mountains and natural surroundings, the area is a tranquil environment where visitors can enjoy swimming and snorkeling. The bay holds a historical significance and was once the harbor of ancient Keramos and the jetty for Oren. Our last bay for today will lead us to Gokagac Bay and beach. It is situated near to the settlement of Hisaronu in a remote and natural environment. The bay is a secluded paradise, untouched by mass tourism or building developments. Although extremely difficult to reach by road it is easily accessible by boat. The mountain backdrop and scenic surrounding provides a tranquil environment where visitors can enjoy swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing or relaxing whilst admiring the colorful sunsets.

Today will be a day full of relaxation, admiring some spectacular scenery and exploring the beauty beneath the sea. First on the agenda is Ada Bogazi Bodrum. It is often referred to as an Aquarium because of the fantastic water clarity. The area is up to 30 meters deep and the sea bed can be seen clearly. Tour members will be able to swim and snorkel whilst spotting many species of fish and an abundance of extraordinary natural beauty. The last stop for today will be Mersincik Bay located on the north side of Datca, surrounded by lovely forests, clear blue waters and a yellow sandy seabed. It is an inviting area and very popular with Blue Cruise Tours for overnight stays.

We will start our day at Palamutbuku, which lies in a heavenly corner of Turkey, 25 kilometers from Datca. The beach is known for its long, pebbled coastline and pristine waters. Described as a garden of Eden with its unique green and blue color tones, it is the perfect destination for tour members to go swimming and snorkeling along with enjoying the assortment of beautiful tea gardens and restaurants. We will then continue on with our journey to The Ancient City of Knidos, which is a rare historical gem and is often referred to as the "gate of the Aegean." Tour members can witness magnificent structures, a port street lined with columns, an agora, two ancient theaters, and two ancient ports. The tour will then guide us to Inceburun, which is where the great mountains, beginning in Knidos and extending east, meet the sea. It is home to fantastic, clear swimming waters and a tranquil atmosphere, along with being one of the coolest points on the peninsula.

Today, tour members can see and discover one of the most beautiful and award-winning bays within Turkey. The country is filled with spectacular bays and beaches, but Aktur Bay, which is in Bodrum on the Datca Peninsula, is in a league of its own. This bay is home to pine-scented trees, a long, sheltered sandy beach, and crystal-clear waters, perfect for enjoying swimming, snorkeling, and soaking up the sun's hot rays. For our adventurous guests, you may decide to venture into the surrounding forest and hike up the hills to find some of the most spectacular views that overlook this picturesque bay. We will then spend the evening at Bencik Bay also known as Emel Sayin Bay, a quiet and peaceful spot perfect for relaxing and admiring the pretty natural scenery.

After spending the morning at Emel Sayin Bay the tour will guide us to Orhaniye, which is in the Hisaronu Gulf and is one of the most well-known tourist spots in the region. There are various beautiful beach and pine tree areas to admire. The most visited being Kizkumu Beach which is famous for its unique natural formation. It stretches over a submerged path for 600 meters, allowing visitors to walk out to the middle of the sea.

The tour will continue on to the village of Selimiye, which has become a very popular tourist destination in recent years. Even though it can become crowded during the summer months the quaint little fishing village has preserved all of its charm and natural beauty. The village has a relaxing atmoshpere where tour members can swim in crystal clear waters and relax on one of many beaches. Selimiye is one of the world's oldest civilizations with dozens of ruins from the Carian period, tour participants can also experience some interesting historical sights such as the ancient Selimiye Castle.

Today, tour members will be able to enjoy Dirsekbuku, which is the last sheltered bay in the southwest of Hisaronu Bay. This location is usually filled with the smell of fresh village bread cooking on open fires from the local restaurant, along with lots of picturesque views. The last part of our journey for today will take us to Bozburun, a town in the district of Marmaris. Tour members can admire the spectacular scenery, explore the many boat building establishments, and if you wish, indulge on the freshest fish available at one of the many fish eateries.

Our first stop for today is the port town of Datca, situated on the narrow Datca Peninsula on the Aegean Sea. Here we will see many sites and attractions, such as an old neighborhood with stone roads and bougainvillea-covered walls, along with quaint cafes and restaurants. The tour will take us to Knidos Harbor, a beautiful natural harbor that was once used by the ancient Greeks and served as a trading hub during the Roman and Byzantine periods. The site includes a temple to the goddess Aphrodite, and a 4th-century B.C. sundial. It has amazing scenery of the remains of ancient Greek ruins, including an amphitheater that is situated next to the bay. &nbsp;We will continue with our historical journey, which will guide us to The Ancient City of Kindos. The rare historical gem is often referred to as the "gate of the Aegean." Tour members can witness magnificent structures, a port street lined with columns, an agora, two ancient theaters, and two ancient ports.

The small island in the Aegean Sea is a hot spot for boat tours and a popular tourist destination due to its natural thermal baths. Here we will visit Karaada Mud Baths, where visitors can bathe in the very same mud that Cleopatra is said to have bathed in to keep her skin smooth and youthful. The waters here are said to help individuals suffering from rheumatism, sciatica, psoriasis, and other skin diseases. The journey will then lead to Meteor Bay, which lies west of Bodrum and was formed by a large meteor hole. Tour members will have the opportunity to jump over the rock platform into the deep turquoise water of the sea creator along with exploring the mysterious rock caves on the Meteor Bay Underwater Cave Tour. Our final stop for today is Poyraz Bay, which is a popular destination for novice and experienced divers. There are numerous rock formations beneath the water's surface, as well as an abundance of marine life such as octopus, moray eels, starfish, and several species of small fish.

On the final day of the tour, we will depart from Bodrum at 9:00 am. The region is often visited by celebrities over the summer months and is one of the most prestigious tourist destinations in Turkey.
