Explore Wonderful Sights Within the Datca Peninsula

Datca is a port town in southwestern Turkey. It's situated on the narrow Datca Peninsula on the Aegean Sea. Within Datca lies an old neighborhood with stone roads and bougainvillea-covered walls. At the western tip of the peninsula, there are ancient Greek ruins, including an amphitheater and a temple to the goddess Aphrodite, that can be seen. Tour members will depart at 4:00 pm. from Datca. It is surrounded by the beautiful turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea, and there is plenty to see and do in this part of the country. The route will then guide us to Aktur Bay, where visitors can swim in the crystal-clear waters, admire perfect natural landscapes, and relax in the tranquil surroundings.

Today will be a day of indulging in history and refreshing swimming spots. Our first stop will be Hurmalibuk, located on the peninsula of Datca. The bays on this peninsula are all very beautiful, but there is something that makes this one different. The bay has a tropical feel thanks to the endemic and endangered species of date palm trees, and it is popular with visitors due to its fascinating beauty. The next stop for today will be Knidos Harbor, a beautiful natural harbor that was once used by the ancient Greeks. The site includes a temple to the goddess Aphrodite and a 4th-century B.C. sundial. It has amazing scenery of the remains of ancient Greek ruins, including an amphitheater that is situated next to the bay. We will continue with our historical journey, which will guide us to the 2,600-year-old Knidos Ancient City, which is a rare historical gem and is often referred to as the "gate of the Aegean." Tour members can witness magnificent structures, a port street lined with columns, an agora, two ancient theaters, and two ancient ports. Emel Sayin Bay, also known as Bencik Bay, is a quiet and peaceful spot perfect for relaxing and admiring the pretty natural scenery, and it will provide our guests with the perfect atmosphere to end the day.

The day will start with a visit to Selmiye and its surroundings. It is one of the world's oldest civilizations, and many ruins from the Carian period can be seen, including the ancient Selimiye Castle. The tour will then guide us to Sig Liman. This bay is located on the northern shores of the Bozburun peninsula near Selimiye and is surrounded by gently sloping mountains that are covered in pine trees. The first 100 meters of the water's edge are sandy, making it ideal for swimmers, but then it gets deep, bringing a variety of marine life to admire.

Tour members can explore and discover some of the most beautiful bays in Turkey. Our first stop will be Orhaniye, which is in the Hisaronu Gulf and is one of the most well-known tourist spots in the region. There are various beautiful beach and pine tree areas to admire. Next on our agenda for today is a visit to Kizkumu Beach, famous for its unique natural formation. Kizkumu Beach stretches over a submerged path for 600 meters, giving visitors the feeling of walking on the sea. The final destination for today will guide us to Dirsekbuku which is the last sheltered bay in the southwest of Hisaronu Bay. This location is usually filled with the smell of fresh village bread cooking on open fires from the local restaurant, along with lots of picturesque views to admire.

Our journey for today will guide tour members through Bozburun, a small seaside town situated on the coast of the Bozburun peninsula. It's well known for tourism, fishing, sponge diving, and the production of honey. It has a small yet lovely environment that is full of natural beauty, spectacular vegetation, and a crystal-clear sea. The next stop for today will be Bozburun Local Market. It sells everything from fresh fruit and vegetables to spices, sweets, and locally made Turkish delight. It also has a wide range of stalls where clothes, shoes, and general household goods can be purchased. After an afternoon of shopping, we will head to Ada Bogazi Bozburun. In this sandy part of Bozburun, it is possible to see every color between blue and green. Our tour members will enjoy refreshing crystal clear water and a tranquil atmosphere at the end of the day.

We will start our day by enjoying the wonderful sights of Comcalik Bay. The location is pretty and is the perfect spot for swimming, sunbathing, and pure relaxation. It is well known as a quiet bay where the waters are extremely calm. The next stop on our journey for today will guide us to Zeytinli Island. It is a deserted and very pleasant bay. On the coast there are vague historical remains from the Byzantine period. These remains have long been used as goat sheds. A stone pier formerly used by shepherds and fishermen coming and going to the island still stands in ruins, in the middle of the bay.

Tour members can today discover Loryma Ancient City, a historical location that is popular due to its sheltered and protected geographical position. Loryma's ancient city ruins are situated on a hill overlooking the bay. The well-preserved castle is the most important ruin that has survived and was built to protect the entrance of the bay. After some history and exploration, the tour will take us to Tavsan Buku, a lovely large bay where tour participants can swim, snorkel, relax, and socialize under the magnificent twinkling night sky.

On the final day of the tour, we will depart from Datca at 9:00 a.m. Here we will see many sites and attractions, such as an old neighborhood with stone roads and bougainvillea-covered walls, along with quaint cafes and restaurants that will provide the perfect end to a fantastic tour.
