Explore History and Culture With the Blue Cruise to Marmaris

Marmaris is a port city and tourist resort on the Mediterranean coast, located in the Mugla Province of southwest Turkey. Tour members will depart at 4:00 pm. from Marmaris. The first stop on our tour is Marmaris Castle and Archeology Museum, which is the only large historic landmark and the only museum within Marmaris. The castle has an outstanding landscape and is one of the best viewpoints overlooking the port city. The museum has seven indoor areas where art galleries and collections of antique items can be viewed. After indulging in history, we will continue our journey to Hafsa Sultan Caravanserai, which lies north of Marmaris Castle. It was built in 1545, and was once a roadside hotel where travelers and soldiers could recuperate. Its upper part is decorated with original painted arches, and it is located on a narrow street leading to the city center, where many small shops, cafes, and local stalls can be seen.

Our tour for today will start by exploring Bozburun, a small seaside town situated on the coast of the Bozburun peninsula. It's well known for tourism, fishing, sponge diving, and the production of honey. It has a small yet lovely environment that is full of natural beauty, spectacular vegetation, and a crystal clear sea. The next part of our journey for today will guide us to Bozukkale, which is located in the southwest of Marmaris. The water is pristine, and there is a variety of marine life in the area, making it ideal for snorkeling. Our final stop for today will be Loryma Ancient City, a historical location that is popular for overnight stays due to its sheltered and protected position. Loryma's ancient city ruins are situated on a hill overlooking the bay. The well preserved castle is the most important ruin that has survived and was built to protect the entrance of the bay.

The first stop on our agenda for today is the port town of Datca, situated on the Datca Peninsula on the Aegean Sea. Here we will see many sites and attractions, such as an old neighborhood with stone roads and bougainvillea-covered walls, along with cafes and restaurants. The tour will then guide us to Knidos Harbor, a stunning natural harbor that was once used by the ancient Greeks. The site includes an amphitheater, a temple in honor of the goddess Aphrodite, and a 4th-century B.C. sundial. It has amazing scenery including an amphitheater that is situated right next to the bay.

Today, tour members can explore and discover one of the most beautiful bays in Turkey. The country is filled with spectacular bays and beaches, but Aktur Bay, which is situated on the Datca Peninsula, is in a league of its own. This bay is home to pine-scented trees, a sheltered sandy beach, and crystal-clear waters, perfect for tour members to enjoy swimming, snorkeling, and soaking up the sun's hot rays. Our adventurous guests can venture into the surrounding forest and hike up the hills to find some of the most spectacular views that overlook this picturesque bay. Our last stop for today will be Emel Sayin Bay, also known as Bencik Bay, it is a quiet and peaceful spot that is perfect for relaxing and admiring the spectacular scenery.

Tour members will start today by exploring Selmiye's surroundings. It is one of the world's oldest civilizations and many ruins from the Carian period can be seen, Including the ancient Selimiye Castle. Our second stop for today will take us to Orhaniye, which is in the Hisaronu Gulf and is one of the most well-known tourist spots in the region. There are various beautiful beaches and many pine trees to admire. Next on our agenda for today is a visit to Kizkumu Beach which is famous for its unique natural formation. Kizkumu Beach stretches over a submerged path for 600 meters, allowing visitors to walk out to the middle of the sea.

On the tour today, members will be able to enjoy Dirsekbuku, which is the last sheltered bay in the southwest of Hisaronu Bay. This location is usually filled with the smell of fresh village bread cooking on open fires from the local restaurant, along with lots of picturesque views and many fishing boats. The last part of our journey for today will take us to Bozburun, a town in the district of Marmaris. Tour members can admire the spectacular scenery, explore the many boat building establishments, and indulge on the freshest fish available at one of the many fish eateries.

Today will be a day of complete relaxation and revitalizing swimming spots. We will start our day at Kadirga Bay, which is &nbsp;home to a fine gravel beach and naturally sheltered For our members who enjoy adrenaline-fueled fun, the steep rocks on the south-east part of the bay provide an impressive platform for cliff jumping. Our journey will then take us to the quiet farming village of Kumlubuk. This beautiful area is home to a sandy and fine gravel beach and calm turquoise waters. This secluded paradise is well known for its upper-class restaurant establishments and water sports activities. We will then travel to Cennet Island, which is situated next to Marmaris Bay. The island is well known for its fresh air, vast amount of nature, and pristine sea water. After visiting Cennet Island, we will continue to Marmaris town for an evening of sightseeing. Visitors can also enjoy a leisurely walk around the large and lively waterfront promenade.

On the final day of the tour, we will depart from Marmaris at 9:00 am. Tour members can explore Marmaris in more detail. It is surrounded by the beautiful turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea, and there is plenty to see and do in this part of the country, including Marmaris Old Town, which is located near the popular nightlife hotspot of Bar Street. The quaint, cobbled, and winding streets are full of vibrant flowers, small boutique stores, coffee shops, and traditional tea houses. There will also be many lovely swimming spots for tour members to enjoy and to cool off from the summer heat.
