Kos is easily accessible by air, with the nearest airport being Kos International Airport "Hippocrates" (KGS), located approximately 24 kilometers southwest of the city. This airport offers both domestic and international flights, providing convenient access for travelers from around the world. In addition to Kos International Airport, travelers can also consider flying into Kalymnos Island National Airport (JKL), which is about 40 kilometers north of Kos. Both airports offer car rental services and taxi stands, making it easy for visitors to reach the city of Kos upon arrival. Public transportation options, such as buses, are also available for a more budget-friendly alternative.
