Love Bay

Love Bay is Poros Islands’ hidden scenic gem where dangling rich vegetation meets with emerald waters alluring romantic couples to relax, swim, snorkel and canoe.

Love Bay is located on the southwest coastline of Poros Island, showcasing the most natural scenery on the whole island. What once was an exotic hideout for couples is now a beautiful bay frequented by many visiting yachts and gulets looking for a romantic spot to relax on. Love Bay boasts the most pristine landscapes on the whole island where greenery blends with the sea's turquoise hues with a pretty little chapel at the end of the beach. The bay is ideal for those looking for a secluded cove to relax on and enjoy swimming and snorkelling in its beautiful waters.

Visiting the Bay

Love Bay is a sheltered cove embraced by lush thick pine trees that dangle over the bays' emerald-coloured waters. Its golden sandy beach meets crystal-clear seas that are shallow at the shore and gradually deepen. The bay offers picturesque vistas in a peaceful setting surrounded by pleasant sounds of nature. The bay hits a romantic note for couples in the evening when the sun sets offering the most beautiful coloured views that one can only imagine. This bay is also unspoiled with only a few sun lounges and huts making it a popular tranquil cove for couples to visit.

Boaters can anchor at Love Bays' sheltered anchorage that protects against all but the south and western winds, making the waters particularly calm during the summer period. It is best to visit the bay during the dry and hot summer season from June to September when temperatures reach 88°F (31°C). Visitors can stop and relax whilst sipping on a drink from its beach bar or swim and snorkel in its fantastic warm water that averages 82°F (28°C). Canoeing is also thoroughly enjoyed by adventurists who wish to explore the bays' coastal shores and beyond.
