Alimos Marina is one of the largest and most historic marinas in Greece, located South West of Athens, 15 kilometers from the city center. Our tour will depart at 4:00 pm from Alimos Marina and the first location that we will visit is Athens. Named after the goddess Athena, it is the capital and largest city within Greece. Often referred to as an open-air museum it showcases ancient history, magnificent natural treasures, and a vibrant nightlife. The city is also known for its many luxurious marinas, stunning gardens, shopping centers, and extensive range of water sports. There are many wonderful beach and bay areas to explore on the southern and northeastern sides of the city's coastline, along with many historic attractions. Here tour members will have the opportunity to visit the Acropolis of Athens which is situated on top of a rocky hill and showcases the fantastic architecture of one of the world's oldest civilizations. Tour members can expect to discover citadels, temples, and monuments, each of which portray ancient Doric and Ionic styles. The most popular attractions to visit here include the Parthenon, the Erechtheion, the Propylaea, and the Temple of Athena Nike.

Today's trip will take us from Alimos Marina to Aegina Island. Aegina Island is located in the Saronic Gulf, where tour members can explore the capital and main port of Agia Marina. There are a wide variety of cafes, restaurants, traditional taverns, and shops to discover here. Along with popular areas there are also more secluded places such as Souvala, Vagia, Marathon, and Perdika. Several beaches can also be found on this island, some are small and secluded and some are larger with a variety of facilities such as Souvala Beach, Agia Marina Beach, and Marathon Beach. As for historical sites there are many significant areas to explore including the Temple of Athena Aphaia, the Temple of Apollo and the Temple of Elanios Zeus.

We will now sail from Aegina Island to Paleia Epidaurus. Paleia Epidaurus is a coastal town, home to the wonderful shingled beach of Gialasi. Tour members can enjoy a refreshing swim here, whilst admiring the beautiful surrounding scenery. The main attraction in the town is Epidavros Ancient Theatre, known as the best preserved ancient theater in Greek history due to its perfect acoustics and symmetrical structure. Constructed in the late 4th century BC, the theater once had 34 rows of seats divided into 34 blocks. The ancient theater has been popular since the antiquity period and still holds the same significant values today due to its size, unique architecture and harmonious acoustics.

The thriving vegetation, signature Clock Tower landmark, lovely beaches and quaint villages make this island a wonderful place to visit. In the center of the island there are also many taverns, restaurants and relaxing venues to enjoy. There may not be a huge amount of choice in regards to beaches however the beach areas on the island portray quality. Askeli, Love Bay and Neorio are the most popular, but tour members can also find more secluded bay areas around the island’s coastline.

This sheltered harbor faces the historical ruins of the Ancient City of Alieis, where tour members can admire artifacts from the past in the Archaeological Museum of Nafplio and the Kranidi Folk Art Museum. Today's adventure will lead us from Porto Cheli to Nafplion. Nafplion is referred to as one of the most romantic towns within mainland Greece. It is a popular weekend destination for locals and tourists alike due to its medieval atmosphere and historical attractions such as the Palamidi Fortress and the Bourtzi Castle. Within the charming Old Town of Nafplion, tour members can stroll through the town's narrow streets whilst admiring luxury mansions and community squares. As for beaches there are several lovely shores to visit with the most popular being located within the resorts of Tolo, Nea, Kios and Kandia.

Along with being famous amongst climbing enthusiasts, this town is also popular amongst beach lovers due to their sandy textures and crystal clear waters. The most popular beaches to visit include Psili Ammos, Stoupa and the secluded cove of Tripiti. Here tour members can sunbath, swim or partake in water activities such as snorkeling and paddle boarding. This quaint town is full of history and culture, tour members can find many sights to admire such as traditional stone houses, the Church of Agios Georgios, Tsakonian Folklore Museum and the Cultural Center of Leonidio.

Today our tour will continue on from Leonidion to Monemvasia. Monemvasia is a Medieval Castle Town, referred to as one of the most romantic places within Greece. This magnificent town is believed to have been constructed during the Medieval Ages with the aim of being completely invisible from the mainland, to avoid unwanted intruders. Tour members can enjoy wandering around the ancient paved streets where stone mansions, and Byzantine churches, such as the church of Agia Sofia and Christ Elkomenos can be found. Another interesting attraction to discover is the Archaeological Museum of Monemvasia which is housed inside the Muslim Mosque. It is one of the best-preserved buildings within the town, displaying findings such as the remains of fortresses, walls, temples, houses, ceramic objects, and sculptures.

Today's journey will take us from Monemvasia to Kiparissa. Within the picturesque Old Town of Kyparissia, the Castle of Kyparissia, also known as the Castle of Arcadia, can be discovered. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions within the island due to its history, architecture and breathtaking views of the sea. Another interesting sight to explore is the Ancient Peristeria archaeological site which is one of the earliest Mycenaean towns in Greece. Dapia is also home to the Spetses Museum and Anargyros mansion along with several other must see attractions. Our final stop for today is Aegina Island’s Perdika Bay which is located 9 kilometers south of the main town of Aegina. Within the marina a variety of restaurants can be found along with a swimming pool and the historic Nautical Club of Kalamaki. Its geographical location provides easy access to other areas such as Athens and the port of Piraeus.
