Biograd

On the first day of our journey, the tour will lead us from Biograd na Moru to Jazera. Biograd na Moru is a popular resort in the southernmost part of the Zadar region, home to many bays and beaches lining its coast. The most popular attraction here is the historic old town and wonderful waterfront promenade. We will now head to Galesnjak Island. This island is a masterpiece of nature. It is the only island in the world that is formed in an almost perfect heart shape, never changing its contours. Referred to by many as Lovers' Island or Love Island, it is surrounded by pebble beaches, rocky areas, and coves with breathtaking beauty. This island is completely uninhabited and protected by the state, so there are no public structures or amenities. Moving on, we will now visit Murter Island. It is a wonderful location, home to the four towns of Murter, Betina, Tisno, and Jezera. This destination showcases an abundance of beauty in its clear waters, old olive trees, impressive climate, pine-scented forests, and hidden, secluded coves. There are many small, spectacular beaches and bays to explore all around the island, with Slanica, Podvrske, and Cigrada Beach being the most popular. Several attractions can be discovered on the island, including various historic sites dating back to ancient Roman times, the Church of St. Francis of Assisi, and the fascinating Betina Museum of Wooden Shipbuilding. Throughout its history, Murter has evolved while continuing to maintain its values and standards of culture, traditions, and spirituality. Narrow stone streets and stone walls covered with ivy plants have preserved the historic feel. Our final stop on today's tour is Murter Islands, Jezera. This town is a gem, boasting a crystal-clear sea, traditional customs, intriguing stone-paved streets, and a rich history dating back to the antiquity period. For five years in a row this wonderful town has received the Croatian Tourist Board’s Blue Flower, the country’s most prestigious urban landscaping award.
