The Fethiye, Blue Cruise is a relaxing and enjoyable trip, consisting of beautiful scenery, an abundance of history and magnificent islands to explore.

Ancient History and Magnificent Bays Within Fethiye

Fethiye is a popular holiday destination, within the district of Mugla Province. Tour members will depart at 4:00 pm from Fethiye, we will guide you through popular sites, spectacular beaches, and magnificent bays. The route will also include refreshing swimming spots and an abundance of beauty. The first bay that we will visit is Boncuklu Bay. It consists of 2 areas; Big Boncuklu Bay and Small Boncuklu Bay. The bay is situated approximately 4 kilometers away from the center of Fethiye and is known as one of the top 10 cleanest areas within Turkey. The sheltered bay is full of marine life and visitors can also explore the surrounding forest area or sit back and admire the fantastic sunset. The final bay that we will visit today is Tarzan Bay. It is home to many sea creatures and species of fish, and is also known as a perfect spot for diving due to its 25 meter water depth.

Butterfly Valley is first on the agenda for today. The valley gained its name from the 100 species of butterflies and moths, including the black, orange and white Jersey Tiger moth native to the area, many of which can be spotted deep in the valley during the summer months. Our next stop for today is the Blue Lagoon, &nbsp;famous for its ever varying shades of turquoise and azure, and soft sands. Tour members can paddle barefoot along the shoreline or swim across to the tiny island at the mouth of the lagoon. We will then head to the famous Oludeniz Paragliding center, where the geological sensation of the Babadag mountains also known as the Father Mountains can be seen. The site provides ideal conditions for paragliding and is known as the best in Europe. We will then visit St Nicholas Island also known as Gemiler Island. This tiny island is scattered with the remains of five churches, and approximately forty other religious buildings, all dating back to between the fourth and the sixth centuries.

We will start the day with a refreshing swim at Soguk Su Bay, which translates into English as Cold Spring Bay. It is a picturesque bay with a natural water spring beneath the sea bed. This area is well loved during the hot summer months due to the cool and refreshing temperature of the sea water. Our journey will then lead us to Kayakoy, known as Karmylassos in ancient times; the historic ruins that can be seen today date back to the 3rd millennium BC. Camel Beach is our next destination, home to a 500-meter-long beach, crystal-clear waters, and beautiful sandy textures. The beach gained its name from the Camels that reside in the area and many can be seen walking along the beach. Our final destination for today is the island and bay of Karacaoren. This magnificent bay is very scenic, clean and clear and is a fantastic area to partake in water sports and other aquatic activities.

We will start the day at the picturesque Samanlik Bay, located 3 kilometers outside of Fethiye. It is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing morning, swimming, and snorkeling. Next on the agenda for today is Kizil Island, where a lighthouse on the southern point of the island can be seen, providing a nostalgic and romantic ambiance. It also has many recreational facilities on offer. The day will conclude at Tersane Island, which is the biggest&nbsp;Island within the Gulf of Fethiye. Tour members can enjoy the beautiful triangular shaped area and its three wonderful bays. It is believed that the island used to be a shipbuilding and repair harbor, so we suggest obtaining a snorkel and exploring beneath the water. The island also has some ancient ruins of a settlement called Telandria, which can be seen on the land.

Our tour will start by visiting Bedri Rahmi Bay, which reveals natural beauty and historical significance. Here guests can enjoy the lush pine-tree scenery and swim in the clear waters. The bay was named after a famous painter, Bedri Rahmi. It is believed that he visited the bay in 1974 and carved a picture on a large stone in the shape of a fish. Within the fish there are also six hidden animals to uncover. Our journey will then continue on to Cleopatra Baths, where tour members can experience swimming through the ruins that lie beneath the water and explore historic ruins on the land. According to legends Marc Anthony built a Roman Bath at this spot for Cleopatra as a wedding gift and golden sands were imported here from Egypt.

Today will start by visiting Zeytin Island. Zeytin translates to olive in English and the island lives up to its name. It is covered in plump olive trees and there is also an olive processing workshop to explore. Tour members can also taste and purchase the smooth locally made product. The Yassica Islands will be our final destination for today, a group of five beautiful islands within the Fethiye Gulf. There are historical ruins to explore on the islands and it is an ideal location for water sports. Swimmers can swim between some of the islands, the closest two being approximately 12 meters apart. One of the most popular islands is Devil's Island. According to local legends, the devil chose this island as his home when he was denied entry to paradise.

On the final day of the tour, we will depart from Fethiye at 9:00 am. The tour will guide us through the port city, which is a well-known tourist destination and is very popular during the hot summer months. Tour members can explore many areas such as the Old Town and sites such as Rock Tombs and other historical locations. Many magnificent beaches can also be enjoyed along with many cafes, restaurants, and markets where souvenirs and culinary delights can be purchased.
