The Fethiye to Antalya, Blue Cruise is an exciting trip, consisting of nature, beautiful scenery and an abundance of historical opportunities to uncover.

Pristine Waters and Ancient History Within Fethiye and Antalya

Fethiye is a popular holiday destination with postcard worthy scenery. The tour will depart from Fethiye at 4:00 pm. Tour members will be able to see forestested mountains, beautiful beaches and bays, and miles and miles of clear turquoise waters. &nbsp;It is one of the most popular cruise ports within Turkey and is home to many traditional markets, cultural hotspots, ancient ruins, bars and resturants. We will then sail 3 kilometers outside of Fethiye’s port city to the picturesque Samanlik Bay. This beautiful bay is the perfect area to relax, swim, snorkel and admire the surrounding scenery. Boncuklu Bay will be our final stop for today, which is divided into 2 areas; Big Boncuklu Bay and Small Boncuklu Bay. Located approximately 4 kilometers away from the center of Fethiye and has been named one of the top 10 cleanest areas within Turkey. The area is sheltered and full of marine life to admire. Visitors can also explore the surrounding forest area or sit back and view the fantastic sunset.

Bedri Rahmi Bay is one of the most popular and stunning bays in the region. &nbsp;The bay is named after the famous artist and writer, Bedri Rahmi Eyuboglu. It is believed that he was one of the first to enroute on a Blue Voyage along the Lycian Coast. During his visit he painted a fish on a rock, which also has six hidden animals located within the artpiece. We will then visit Tersane Island, home to a wonderful protected bay. Surrounded by Byzantine ruins and ancient Lycian buildings to explore. In the past the area is believed to have been used for boat building, along with being a small trading harbor. Our final stop for today will be Cleopatra Baths, a shimmering bay that was believed to have been frequently visited by the ancient Queen Cleopatra. Complete with emerald-colored waters and surrounding pine trees, this area is well known for its swimming and snorkeling opportunities due to its glass-like water clarity.

Butterfly Valley is first on the agenda for today. Named after the 100 species of butterflies and moths, including the black, orange and white Jersey Tiger moth native to the area, many of which can be spotted deep in the valley during the summer months. Our next destination for today is the Blue Lagoon, &nbsp;famous for its ever varying shades of turquoise and azure, and soft sands. Tour members can paddle barefoot along the shoreline or swim across to the tiny island at the mouth of the lagoon. We will then head to the famous Oludeniz Paragliding center, where the geological sensation of the Babadag mountains also known as the Father Mountains can be seen. The site provides ideal conditions for paragliding and is known as the best in Europe. After a day of adventure, tour members can enjoy a relaxing evening at St. Nicholas Island also known as Gemiler Island &nbsp;where the remains of five churches, and approximately forty other religious buildings, can be explored.

Kayakoy Village and Ghost Town Tour is first on the agenda for today. &nbsp;During World War I, the Greeks and Turks resided in the area, however they were forced to leave and abandon their homes and memories. Gradually, the houses became inhabited and the town eventually became a Ghost Village. Hundreds of roofless stone buildings can be seen here surrounded by natural beauty and fruit trees. We will then visit Soguk Su Bay, also known as Cold Spring Bay, it is a picturesque bay with a natural water spring beneath the sea bed. This area is well loved during the hot summer months due to the cool and refreshing temperature of the sea water. Our final destination for today is the island and bay of Karacaoren. This magnificent bay is very scenic, clean and clear and is a fantastic area to partake in water sports and other aquatic activities.

The tour for today will start by exploring Kalkan, a historic town and one of the most beautiful locations along Turkey’s Lycian Coast. It is a charming and unspoiled haven of lush nature, shimmering blue crystal-clear waters, historic architecture, ancient history and traditional Turkish hospitality. We will then visit Patara, also known as Xanthos which was once the center of culture and commerce during Lyrican times. At this Unesco's World Heritage site many historical ruins and natural treasures can be found such as on the Saklikent Gorge Tour where the longest, most famous, and deepest gorge within Turkey can be seen. Our final stop for today is Firnaz also known as Yesilkoy or Aquarium Bay. The bay resembles an aquarium with its clear waters and abundance of marine life. As it is a protected area, the bay showcases peace, tranquility and moments alone with nature. It is famous for its natural mud, which holds many minerals that are believed to rejuvenate, heal and beautify the skin.

Hidayet Bay is first on the agenda for today, where tour members will have the pleasure of swimming in the deep blue, cool waters surrounded by large cliffs and olive trees. We will then visit Kas to explore Kas Diving opurtunities. The Kas Islands on the Mediterranean Sea offer warm waters where tour members can dive into history, and explore many remains, which have existed since Antiquity. Our final stop for today will be Limanagzi Bay &nbsp;where the magnificent water has a color palette unlike anywhere else in the region, perfect for a relaxing evening after a long day of adventure.

The seaside town of Kas is our first destination for today. Well known for its traditional whitewashed houses, beautiful beaches and extravagant harbor. There are also many historical sites to explore within the area. Our journey will then lead to Kas Local Market where fresh fruit and vegetables, spices, sweets, and locally made Turkish delight can be purchased. Antiphellos Ancient City will be next on the agenda, it is one of the oldest settlements in the Lycian Region where many ruins can be seen such as a temple, church and an ancient theater.

The small Guvercin Island is referred to as a rock in the ocean and is our first stop on today's tour. The water clarity is perfect and the surrounding waters are deep. Many tourists travel to the island to admire the marble sculpture of a shark that sits on the sea bed. Inonu Bay is our next stop, this long narrow bay is very secluded and was once a well loved hideout for the Berber pirates of the 17th and 18th century. The waters here are deep blue and full of marine life, and if we are lucky we may see turtles and sometimes even dolphins. The Ancient City of Aperlai &nbsp;will be our next stop. The ancient Lycian city was once known for royal purple dye, produced by crushing mollusk shells and then traded for use all over the world. The area guarantees uninterrupted serenity and there are also ancient ruins to explore. We will then guide our members to see part of the Aperlai Lycian Way which is a famous walking trail that can take up to 45 days to complete. The secret gem of Salyangoz Bay, also referred to as Karaloz Bay, will be our final stop. It is only accessible by boat and offers visitors an abundance of beauty. It is a perfect location for visitors who are looking to escape the crowds. This bay charms its guests with pristine glass like waters, rocky cliffs, and breathtaking scenery.

Today's adventure will start by visiting Adrasan, also known as Cavus Bay. The bay lies within a 2.5-kilometer stretch of coastline where there are soft sandy and shingle beaches to enjoy and small villages to explore. We will then indulge in some history and sightseeing within Olympos Ancient City where interesting historic ruins from the Hellenistic, Roman, and Byzantine periods can be seen. Continuing on, we will visit Phaselis Bay and Phaselis Ancient City, reflecting the perfect combination of history and nature, where well preserved Roman ruins, protection walls, Hadrian's Arch, Roman baths, mosaics, and a theater can be seen. This area was once home to one of the most important cities of the Lycian League.

Kemer is a seaside resort and district of Antalya Province on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey. It is well known for its natural environment, including the sea, mountains and pine forests. The coastine consists of a number of beaches and bays, all of various sizes, and mostly stoney rather than sandy. All of the bays that can be found within this area are perfect for sunbathing, swimming and snorkeling. The Antalya region is full of ancient ruins. On the Aspendos and Perge Ancient City Tour, members will be able to see world-famous ancient values. It is a great opportunity for those eager to explore Antalya's history in more depth.

Today will start by enjoying the wonderful sights of the wide bay of Porto Ceneviz, where rocks rise out of the sea, giving the bay a protected feel. The sea here is calm, and the waters are warm, perfect for a relaxing swim. We will then sail to Finike which was formerly known as Phoenicus. It is home to a modern marina, historical ruins, orange orchards, beaches and also the loggerhead turtle can sometimes be seen.

Demre was once known as The Ancient City of Myra. Within this are the Lycian Civilization Museum and the Andriake Ruins can also be seen. At these locations, historical ruins, and artifacts found during the excavations of ancient cities of the Lycian League can be seen. After a morning filled with history we will travel to the magnificent Blue Cave, gaining its name from the dazzling blue hue of the water. Tour members can swim through the low entrance in the cliff face and marvel at the sapphire stone walls as the sunlight bounces off the sea filling the cave with a spectacular blue light. Our final stop for today will be Gokkaya Bay, popular with Blue Cruise boats as its historical, cultural, and natural beauties all intertwine. The sea is cool here as there are cold-water springs, perfect for a refreshing evening swim on a hot summer's day.

We will start our day by visiting Katir Iskelesi also known as Mule Bay. After stopping off at Katır Iskelesi, we will then visit Hamidiye. The bay area is quite impressive and has a historic past. During the Balkan Wars, the Ottoman cruiser Hamidiye, was the first modern warship that docked in this area. Continuing on with our historical journey will then visit Simena where Simena Castle also known as Kalekoy can be explored. It is located on a hill, overlooking the spectacular Gokkaya Bay where we will enjoy an evening of relaxation gazing up at the stars.

Kekova is a natural wonder that intrigues guests with its history and variety of bays. The Sunken City can be seen within this area which is partly submerged under water due to devastating earthquakes. Sarcophagi and rock tombs bearing traces of the Hellenistic and Roman periods can also be found. We will then continue on to Tersane Bay, it is a secluded area, where underwater ruins of a former Byzantine Church can be seen. The turquoise waters are calm, and full of marine life, making it a very popular spot for swimming and snorkeling. We will then visit &nbsp;Kekova Aquarium Bay which is located at the entrance to the Kekova region. The lagoon-like bay is an idyllic spot for swimming, snorkeling, diving, canoeing and sailing or for soaking up the sun's rays on the lovely pebbled beach. We will be spending the night at Kocakari Bay which provides a perfect location to anchor. Here the waters are clear, the fantastic view of the Kekova mainland can be seen within the distance, and we are surrounded by nature and tranquility.

On the final day of the tour, we will depart from the &nbsp;town of Demre, within the Antalya Province at 9:00 am. In ancient Lyrican times Demre was known as Myra. It was an important town and by the 4th century had its own bishop, it was also the home of Saint Nicholas of Myra who was the original Santa Claus. Tour members can find many historical sites such as tombs, a Roman theater, churches and other remains of Roman Myra to explore. Local handmade crafts, souvenirs and locally made rugs can also be purchased.
