Exploring Wonderful Sights and Natural Bays Within Fethiye

Fethiye is a popular holiday destination with an abundance of beauty. The tour will depart from Fethiye at 4:00 pm. Tour participants will be able to view magnificent mountains, beautiful beaches and bays, and miles and miles of clear turquoise waters. This area is one of the most popular cruise ports within Turkey and is home to many traditional markets, cultural hotspots, ancient ruins, bars and resturants. We will then sail 3 kilometers outside of Fethiye’s port city to finish the day off at the picturesque Samanlik Bay. This beautiful bay is the perfect place to relax, swim, snorkel and admire the surrounding scenery.

Butterfly Valley is first on the agenda for today. Named after the 100 species of butterflies and moths, including the black, orange and white Jersey Tiger moth native to the area, many of which can be spotted deep in the valley. Our next destination for today is the Blue Lagoon, famous for its ever changing shades of turquoise and azure, and soft sands. Tour members can paddle barefoot along the shoreline or swim across to the tiny island at the mouth of the lagoon. Our journey will continue to St Nicholas Island also known as Gemiler Island. This tiny island is scattered with the remains of five churches, and approximately forty other religious buildings, all dating back to between the fourth and the sixth century.

Our journey today will start at yesterday's tour location of the Blue Lagoon which will then lead us to the seaside town of Kas. While on route to Kas we will pass by Yesilkoy also known as Firnaz Bay and we will visit this bay again during our tour. Once arriving at Kas, tour members can witness fabulous whitewashed houses, winding mountain roads, beautiful beaches and a magnificent harbor. The modern town has many sites to explore such as the ancient Antiphellos, which has visible ruins including a theater to discover. Another interesting site is the 4th century BC. Lion Tomb, complete with 2 carved lion heads, and is one of many popular Lycian rock tombs in the area. Our evening will be spent at Limanagzi Bay which offers one of the best beach vibes within Kas and allures its visitors with its shimmering bay. Abysmal cliffs surround the area, leaving an opening where its rocky beaches meet the cerulean sea. The magnificent water has a color palette unlike anywhere else in the region. Swimming, snorkeling, exploring the shabby beach huts and cafes, are popular activities and Limanagzi’s Lycian Way trail also adds to its uniqueness.

Kekova is our first stop for today. This natural treasure showcases intriguing sarcophagi, rock tombs and a variety of spectacular bays. Within this area the Sunken City can also be seen. This extraordinary piece of history is partly submerged under water due to an earthquake that flooded the city many years ago. Sarcophagi and rock tombs bearing traces of the Hellenistic and Roman periods can also be seen. Our journey will then guide us to Simena where Simena Castle also known as Kalekoy can be explored. &nbsp;Our day will conclude at Gokkaya Bay where historical, cultural, and natural beauties all complement each other. The sea is colder here than most other bay areas, as there are cold-water springs present, perfect for a refreshing evening swim on a hot summer evening.

The next part of our journey for today will guide us to Demre, also known as the Lycian town of Myra, which was once the home of Saint Nicholas of Myra and is well known for its production of olive oil. Abandoned Greek houses can be seen along with magnificent rock tombs. The region is popular with tourists today, particularly Christian pilgrims who visit the tomb of Saint Nicholas. Within Demre we will visit Cayagzi Bay also referred to as Andriace Harbour where huge amounts of Turkish and foreign tourists visit during the summer season to learn more about the area's past. In ancient times, it was known as Andriake Port where merchants brought their items and produce to important trading markets. Today it is the perfect place to dock to explore this exciting region. Kocakari Bay is our final stop today, loved for its crystal clear waters and stunning views across the Mediterranean Sea with calm water all protected by surrounding cliffs and forests. Below the sea stunning coral reefs and many colorful sponges can be admired. Marine life is abundant in this area where octopus, starfish, sea urchins and many other creatures can be seen. The bay is a popular overnight spot for Blue Cruises due to its secluded and sheltered &nbsp;location.

Today will start by visiting one of the most beautiful bays in the Antalya province. Inonu Bay, which is described by many as an underwater aquarium. The secluded oasis is renowned for its high-visibility waters and diverse marine life. We will then visit another beautiful bay area. Yesilkoy, also known as Firnaz Bay or Aquarium Bay also resembles an aquarium with its clear waters and all shades of blue. As it is a protected area, the bay showcases peace, tranquility and moments alone with nature. It is also famous for its natural mud, which is believed to rejuvenate and heal the skin.

Yassica Islands will be on our agenda for today, the location consists of five beautiful islands that lie within the Fethiye Gulf. There are ruins to explore and it is an ideal location for our more adventourous water sports enthusiasts. Guests can enjoy a pleasant swim between the islands with the closest two being approximately 12 meters apart. This beautiful oasis is completely uninhabited with no buildings. One of the islands is named Devil’s Island and it is believed that the devil chose this island as his home when he was denied entry to paradise.

Today we will visit Bedri Rahmi Bay, which portrays natural beauty and an important historical significance. Tour members can admire the area's vegetated pine tree scenery and enjoy a revitalizing swim in the crystal clear waters. The bay gained its name after a famous painter Bedri Rahmi, visited the bay in 1974. He carved a picture on a large rock in the shape of a fish, his piece of art is also a puzzle and there are six hidden animals to uncover. Our journey today will conclude by visiting Cleopatra Baths, where tour members can experience swimming through the ruins that lie beneath the water and explore historic ruins on the land. According to legends Marc Anthony built a Roman Bath at this spot for Cleopatra as a wedding gift and golden sands were imported to the location all the way from Egypt.

Today we will visit the very popular Aga Harbour. This breathtaking port area is divided into two parts and is perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Due to the fresh water springs beneath the sea, the water temperature is cooler than other bay areas within the region. For guests who wish to take a short hike, it is also possible to find some interesting Byzantine and Roman ruins nearby. We will then visit Ekincik Bay, which is located on the north shore of Port Koycegiz between Marmaris and Dalyan and is home to Iztuzu Beach. The quiet and tranquil area has shallow waters and wooden slopes that surround the bay. It is one of the prettiest and most picturesque areas in the region. Tour members can enjoy a peaceful afternoon sunbathing on the spectacular beach whilst swimming or snorkeling in the refreshing crystal clear waters.

The day will start with a tour of Turunc, a charming and unique little village just outside of Marmaris. Tour members can enjoy swimming in the turquoise waters, sunbathing on the long pebble beach, or exploring the quaint local shops and restaurants located around the promenade, harbor, and main street. The day will conclude with a visit to Serce Port, where glass objects were once excavated from an 11th-century Byzantine wreck. It is surrounded by steep rocks and cool, clean waters, perfect for a refreshing evening swim.

Today we will spend the day exploring Bozukkale. Located on a remote stretch of coastline on the southern tip of the Bozburun peninsula. Here lies the remains of an ancient citadel. The castle was believed to have been constructed around 700 BC and the fortress was home to a navy base. The navy was given the task to prevent enemies gathering within the natural harbor. The castle and its grounds were once 334 meters long, 36 meters wide and hand built with stone block walls that were more than 2 meters thick. Many lookout towers were once also present at this site allowing soldiers to see ships approaching from afar. Some restorations have taken place here, although it is clear to see the time and level of craftsmanship that was put into creating this fortress. Today along with its ruins, the area is a popular anchorage site due to its peaceful and sheltered environment and pristine water clarity.

Our first stop for today is the port town of Datca, situated on the narrow Datca Peninsula on the Aegean Sea. Here we will see many sites and attractions, such as an old neighborhood with stone roads and bougainvillea-covered walls, along with quaint cafes and restaurants. The tour will then take us to Knidos Harbor, a beautiful natural harbor that was once used by the ancient Greeks and served as a trading hub during the Roman and Byzantine periods. The site includes a temple to the goddess Aphrodite, and a 4th-century B.C. sundial. It has amazing scenery of the remains of ancient Greek ruins, including an amphitheater that is situated next to the bay.

We will spend the day at the dramatic and eye-catching Mersincik Bay. Located on the Datca Peninsula, this wonderful bay has not been affected by mass tourism and is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing day surrounded by scented pine forest hills and an abundance of nature. The waters are clear and calm, perfect for a day of swimming and relaxation.

The first location on the agenda for today is Karaada Island. The small Turkish Island lies at the entrance to the harbor of Bodrum and the magnificent Aegean Sea. It is a favored location during the summer season especially with boaters and yachtsmen as there is plenty to do and see. Our day will then continue on to Poyraz Bay, which is a popular destination for novice and experienced divers. There are numerous rock formations beneath the water's surface, as well as an abundance of marine life such as octopus, moray eels, starfish, and several species of small fish. Bodrum is our final destination for today, it is one of thirteen districts within Mugla and is a popular tourist hotspot, where tour members can find lots of things to do along with a colorful cosmopolitan nightlife to enjoy.

On the final day of the tour, we will depart from Bodrum at 9:00 am. It is one of the most prestigious tourist destinations in Turkey and is often visited by celebrities over the summer months. The area is renowned for hosting luxurious yachts, high-end hotels, fashionable boutiques, and glamorous cars. The city is also a gateway for nearby beach towns and resorts that tour members can discover. This authentic region will charm members who love the sea, history, arts, and culture.
