Discover Golden Sandy Beaches Within Gocek and the Gulf of Fethiye

Gocek is a town in a quiet bay in the Gulf of Fethiye, surrounded by the Taurus Mountains, known since ancient times as an important port. Nowadays, with the development of tourism, Gocek has become a yachting center with six marinas, islands, and bays that provide reliable anchorage. Gocek is also known as the starting point of Blue Cruise Tours, and from here, at 4:00 pm, tour members will start a journey that will end in Merdivenli Bay. The Gocek 12 Islands, with their azure waters and golden sandy beaches, will be the starting point for our exciting adventure. Here you will see the pristine beauty of nature, enjoy swimming in beautiful bays, go fishing, and relax in a heavenly setting. We will then arrive at Merdivenli Bay, a picturesque location with sheer cliffs on both sides, crystal blue water, and pebbled terrain. Here we will finish the first day of the tour surrounded by nature in a peaceful and tranquil setting.

Today our journey will start by sailing to the Butterfly Valley, which is surrounded by rocky mountains and green-scented pine forests. Its name derives from the location being filled with butterflies for several weeks of the year. Tour members will then visit the legendary Blue Valley in the village of Oludeniz, a nature reserve at the confluence of the Aegean and Mediterranean seas. This place is considered one of the most beautiful in Turkey, with its strikingly bright turquoise waters that shine like glass. The last stop for today will be St. Nicholas Island, also known as Gemiler Island. It is an uninhabited area with Byzantine ruins and the tomb of St. Nicholas, along with beautiful beaches and many delightful restaurants.

We will spend some time in Turunc Pinari, which is surrounded by pine trees, has a beach, and also has a great restaurant. Our journey will then lead to Samanlik Bay, which also provides an interesting beach experience with bright turquoise waters. We will then visit ancient Fethiye, a well-known tourist center with an impressive number of historical sites as well as an abundance of cafes and restaurants. The tour will then take us to Saklikent Gorge, a national park that is an amazing natural attraction with a waterfall, and Knights Island, along with one of the best diving spots. Kuleli Bay, with its magnificent beaches, will be another swimming stop, and we will end the day at the heavenly Hillside Beach Club Bay.

Our adventure will start at Tersane Island, which was once used by the Ottoman Navy as a shipyard and now has beautiful beaches and interesting ancient ruins. Next, we will sail to Domuz Island, also known as Prince Island, which used to be home to a large population of wild boar but is now a tranquil haven surrounded by radiant natural beauty. Nearby is Gobun Bay, which will be our last stop for the day. This incredibly beautiful place is covered with pines and olive thickets, and there are amazing tombs that are carved into the rocks.

Yavansu Bay, also known as Marty, is a picturesque area overgrown with fig trees and many streams. Here you can see the ancient city of Arymaxa, located on a hilltop with the ruins of four Roman mausoleums, three Hellenic tombs, and a Byzantine cistern. Next, we will go to the unique island of Sedir, also known as Kedrai, which is filled with beauty and a historical atmosphere. Here you will see the famous Cleopatra Baths, which are associated with the name of the Egyptian queen, famous for her extraordinary beauty and unfading youth. In addition, tour members can relax on the beach with unique textured sand from Africa, once brought for the queen, which consists of millions of shells processed into granules. Our last stop on this busy day will be Sarsala Bay, ideal for an overnight stay, which has a beautiful valley, forest, beach, and restaurant.

Today will be spent in a peaceful and relaxing environment and also in one of the best places for swimming, fishing, and snorkeling. The first stop will be at Bedri Rahmi Bay, named after the famous Turkish writer Bedri Rahmi Eyuboglu. He often came to this area for fishing and painted pictures of fish on the rocky entrance to the bay. This is a magnificent location with clear azure water and a pine forest where you can relax and explore the colorful underwater world with numerous inhabitants. The next and last stop of the day will be at Kille Buku, which has a reputation for being the perfect tree-shaded picnic spot.

On this day of our journey, we will visit Boynuzbuku Bay, which hides 12 uninhabited islands called Adalar. This is a very popular place among vacationers who want to swim in the blue waters of the bay, surrounded by pine trees. This area is covered with fruit trees and vegetable gardens, and there is also a restaurant serving freshly caught seafood. The next and final destination of our tour will be the uninhabited Yassica Islands, which are ideal for swimming, snorkeling, diving, and just relaxing by the sea on rocky beaches. Sunset time will be one of the most memorable hours on this day; you will be able to take the most beautiful pictures in a romantic atmosphere.

On the final day of our tour, we will return to Gocek and end the journey at Gocek Local Market at 9:00 am. After a bright sea voyage full of adventures, you will also have to enjoy the wonders of this beautiful city, take another walk along the promenade and taste great dishes in one of the restaurants. A visit to Gocek Lokal Market will also be an interesting pastime, as it is one of the colorful attractions of the area. You can see the multi-colored splendor of fruits and vegetables, find souvenirs for loved ones or buy natural products grown under the gentle Turkish sun, such as olives, dried fruits, spices and much more.
