Gocek Island

Gocek Island is a beautiful uninhabited isle in the Mediterranean Sea, which is located off the coast of the city of Gocek, being a natural breakwater and protecting the city's port approaches from the winds. The island is only 2 kilometers long, but it has its own well-maintained pebble beach with clear water and a forested area behind, covered with thickets of pines and olive trees.

The island is perfectly equipped for mooring, but due to the depth of about 20 to 25 meters, there are difficulties with anchoring. That is why there are many safe buoys for mooring in the middle and equipment for mooring near the shore. Also closer to the beach there is a pier, which belongs to the Fimi Island Beach Club, with the possibility of mooring up to 10 ships.

The pristine Gocek Island is a specially protected natural area and one of the most beautiful places in Turkey, ideal for sea travel.  The waters around the island are calm, almost without waves, and crystal clear with an amazing blue color. Gorgeous green landscapes complement the relaxing views of this paradise island. It is a beautiful spot suitable for swimming and diving, with a rich underwater ichthyofauna where colorful fish swim in abundance.  Visitors should pay attention to the fact that there are a lot of sea urchins at the bottom, so it is better to go into the water in swimming shoes.

The nature here is beautiful, and the island itself is convenient with the possibility of direct supply from the port of Gocek. For these reasons, yachts often stay here for several days. On both sides of Gocek Island there are small additional bays, with the possibility of mooring for several yachts.

Gocek Island became especially popular due to the recently implemented project, which enabled the harmonious combination of the amazing conserved beauty of the island with modern comfortable services. This project was the unique beach club called Fimi Island which includes a Mediterranean restaurant, bar, and beach service.  The club has landscaped Gocek Island, turning it into a sophisticated tropical paradise for luxurious holidays. The beach area is equipped with comfortable sun loungers in the thick of greenery, there is a comfortable area for guests, and the pier has been equipped for convenient mooring.  Also now, a free boat runs here once an hour, which can take visitors to the port of Gocek in 10 minutes. In addition, Fimi Island hosts seasonal events such as the Isle of Escape Festival with the participation of famous DJs, making this place an analogue of the beloved Ibiza.
