Luxurious Modern Marinas, Fabulous Beaches and Spectacular Beauty

&nbsp;Lefkada Island is also refered to as the ‘Caribbean of Greece’ due to its alluring atmosphere and impressive landscape. Its beaches are famous for their sandy and shingle textures and hypnotic turquoise waters, all of which are surrounded by wonderful nature and dramatic cliffs. Along with its beaches, there are several quaint seaside villages to explore, such as Nidri and Agios Nikitas. Within the main town lies the heart of Lefkada Island. Tour members can wander around the narrow streets, taste local delicacies, and visit the Venetian Agia Mavra Castle, museums, and 18th-century churches. Our tour will depart at 4:00 p.m. from Lefkas Marina. Its geographical position is a big advantage for boaters and yachtsmen alike, due to its fantastic links to the island's main land and other popular locations. This modern marina has been operational since 2002 and was perfectly planned to meet the needs of all who visit.

The journey for today will lead us from Lefkada Island to Preveza. Preveza is a town, located at the mouth of the Amvrakikos Gulf in western Greece. The picturesque destination is truly blessed with delightful landscapes, wonderful beaches, historical attractions, and a laid-back vibe. Tour members can enjoy taking a stroll along the harbor and old town, where traditional buildings, authentic taverns, coffee shops, and small shops can be found. As for archaeological sites, there are three castles to discover: Agios Andreas, Agios Georgios, and Pantokratoras. Along with the Archaeological Museum of Preveza, which exhibits major finds from the city's long and fascinating history and the Agios Haralambos cathedral with its monumental clock tower. For tour members who enjoy relaxing on beaches, there are many spectacular shores to choose from, including Agios Giannakis, Agios Sostis, Alonaki Beach, and Spartila Beach, to name a few. The largest beach in this area and the longest in Europe is Monolithi. Enclosed by a eucalyptus forest on one side and crystal-clear waters on the other. This beach gained its name ‘Single Stone’ due to the large stone that lies beneath the water in the middle of the sea.

Today's adventure will guide us from Preveza to Gaios Bay. Gaios is Paxos island's capital town; it is surrounded by a breathtaking landscape and situated around a natural harbor where many cultural and trade activities take place. Despite attracting many tourists during the summer season, it maintains its traditional character due to the 19th-century buildings and narrow ancient alleys. We will now continue on with our journey and visit Agios Nikolaos. The crown jewel of this destination is its bottomless salt lake of Voulismeni. The narrow channel of water that connects the lake to the sea and its surrounding scenery of red rocks and lush trees are also just as impressive. The city also has many interesting archaeological sites on offer, along with natural history museums, Byzantine churches, a well-organized marina, well-decorated pedestrian streets, authentic villages, and traditional squares with many lively cafes and restaurants to enjoy.

The journey will now take us from Gaios Bay to Paxos Island. The first place that we will visit is Syvota, a small village with approximately 3,000 permanent residences. Built on two hills with breathtaking sea views, this area is one of Greece's best-kept secrets. It showcases fantastic beaches, magical coves, and an important historical significance. Once known as Sybota during ancient times, this picturesque location is unspoiled by mass tourism; however, around the harbor area, tour participants can find several restaurants and cafes to enjoy. The bay is surrounded by hidden coves such as Mavro Oros, Agios Nikolaos, and Mourtemeno, perfect for those looking for a bit of privacy. There are also many beaches to enjoy, such as Pisina, Zavia Beach, and Bella Vrakal, all of which provide crystal-clear waters for swimming and a breathtaking natural backdrop. The most interesting and popular of them all is Bella Vrаka due to the small strip of sand that connects it to the islet of Mоurtemenο. Here, visitors can enjoy a leisurely walk between the two areas. Our tour for today will conclude at Paxos Island, which is well known for its magnificent beaches, with the most popular being situated on the eastern and northern parts of the island. There are three small seaside villages on the island; these include Lakka, Longos, and Gaios, which we visited on day 3. Despite attracting many tourists during the summer season, Paxos maintains its traditional character due to its 19th-century buildings and narrow ancient alleys.

Today's trip will lead us from Paxos Island to Fanari Bay, where tour members can enjoy a free sailing day, and relax at Fanari Bay and beach. The sandy terrain and clear waters provide the perfect environment for sunbathing, swimming, and water activities. If you wish to explore the main town in more detail, there are restaurants, cafes, theaters, museums, boutique shops, and galleries nearby. Our day will conclude at Paxos Island / Mongonissi Beach. This beautiful sandy beach is surrounded by pristine waters, our adventurous guests can choose to partake in water sports while discovering impressive caves and an abundance of beauty. The beach is organized with amenities such as umbrellas, sunbeds, showers, and changing rooms.

Today's adventure will take us to Parga. Parga is a wonderful place to visit, and although it's a mainland town, it holds many characteristics of an island, such as its charming natural setting and thriving vegetation. The town lies on a hill, full of elegant two-story mansions, restaurants, hotels, and other touristic facilities. There are many things to do and see here, such as exploring the ruins of the 11th-century Venetian Castle of Parga and the Ottoman Castle of Anthoussa or visiting the springs of the River Acherontas. As for its beaches, the most popular include Valtos, Sarakiniko, and Lichnos due to their pristine waters that are perfect for swimming and snorkeling.

On the final day of the tour, we will travel from Parga to Lefkada Island. Tour participants will have the chance to explore places that we have already visited in more detail. &nbsp;Preveza will be the first stop for today, known for its ancient Nicopolis, the Acheron River, and the Necromanteion. Today, this town is developing into a modern economic and cultural center, all while preserving its traditional charm. We will now visit Lefkada Island. Along with the attractions listed on day 1, other important landmarks worth visiting include the lighthouse, the wonderful Faneromeni monastery, and Melissa Gorge. For those who would like some time to relax, the most popular beaches on the island include Porto Katsiki, Egremni, and Kathisma; however, there are more secluded shores to discover, such as Mylos, Kalamitsi, and Kaminia. Our tour will conclude at Lefkas Marina, where tour members can take a walk, admiring the scale and amenities of this modern marina. From restaurants and bars to shopping and admiring the boating facilities, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
