Magnificent Natural Treasures, Quaint Towns and Rich History

Antalya is a popular tourist city with a yacht-filled Old Harbor, beaches, a vibrant nightlife scene and historical sites. It is the fifth most popular city in the country and the gateway to Turkey's southern Mediterranean region. Tour members will depart at 4:00 pm from Antalya. The tour will guide our guests through the area's natural treasures, historical and religious locations, along with spectacular beaches and bays that are perfect for sunbathing, swimming and snorkeling. There are lots of things to do, see, experience and learn within this part of Turkey and the tour will provide our guests with a trip full of adventure.

Kaleici is the historic city center of Antalya, and our first stop for today. It showcases buildings and architecture dating from the Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk, Ottoman and modern Turkish Republican eras. While some of the traditional Turkish homes are occupied by residents, many have been converted into boutique hotels, restaurants and shops selling hand crafted products and art. We will then sail to Ayisigi Bay. It is one of the most aesthetically pleasing bays in the Kemer district, full of pine, palm, and eucalyptus trees. In the shape of a crescent it has clean, warm waters and fine, golden-yellow sands. This location will provide us with a relaxing evening after a long day of exploring.

Kemer seaside resort is our first location for today, well known for nature, beaches and bays. Historical locations, famous local markets and natural sites can also be found within the area. We will then head to Phaselis Bay, which showcases the perfect combination of history and nature. Tour members can see Roman ruins and admire the beautiful surroundings. Continuing on with our journey we will visit Phaselis Ancient City.It is believed to have been founded by Rhodesian colonists and is classed as one of the most important cities of the Lycian League. The area is home to well preserved Roman ruins, along with many other remains, such as protection walls, Hadrian's Arch, Roman baths, mosaics, and a theater.

The town of Kumluca, is located 90 kilometers west of the city of Antalya, situated on the Teke Peninsula. It is in close proximity to the popular holiday destination of Olympos. Kumluca is known for its fertile soil that is perfect for growing watermelons and its spectacular scenery. Our next stop for today will be Olympos Ancient City, where historic ruins from the Hellenistic, Roman, and Byzantine periods can be seen. We will then enjoy the wonderful sights of the wide bay of Porto Ceneviz, where rocks rise out of the sea, giving the bay a protected feel. The sea here is calm, and the waters are warm, perfect for a relaxing swim. The last stop on our tour for today is Sazak Bay. This fascinating area is home to natural beauty and complete tranquility.

Finike which was formerly known as Phoenicus is our first stop for today. It is home to a modern marina, historical ruins, orange orchards, beaches and the loggerhead turtle. Demre town is our next stop for today, named after the river Demre and known as the Lycian town of Myra. Tour members can discover many historical sites such as tombs, a Roman theater, churches and other remains of Roman Myra. We will then visit the magnificaent Blue Cave, gaining its name from its exquisite blue hue of the water. Tour members can enjoy swimming through the low entrance in the cliff face and admire the sapphire stone walls as the sunlight bounces off the sea filling the cave with a fluorescent blue light. We will conclude our day at Gokkaya Bay, where historical, cultural, and natural beauties all intertwine. The sea is cooler than most other bay areas within the region, as there are cold-water springs, perfect for a refreshing evening swim on a hot summer's day.

Kekova is our first stop for today. This natural wonder has intriguing sarcophagi, sunken cities, rock tombs and a variety of bays. Within this area the Sunken City can also be seen. This extraordinary piece of history is submerged under water due to devastating earthquakes. Sarcophagi and rock tombs bearing traces of the Hellenistic and Roman periods can also be found. Our journey will then guide us to Simena where Simena Castle also known as Kalekoy can be explored. Our final stop for today is Hamidiye Bay which provides good shelter for overnight stays. The area is quite impressive and has a historic past. During the Balkan Wars, the Ottoman cruiser Hamidiye, was the first modern warship that docked in this area.

Whilst sailing along the southern Turkish coast we will find Karalos Bay. It has crystal clear turquoise waters and the heavenly scent of the pine trees in the air. The swimming opportunities in this horseshoe shaped bay are fantastic as the waters are warm and visibility is very good. We will then visit Salyangoz Bay, it has white sand on the seabed and the water possesses a magnificent vibrant deep blue color. Kocakari Bay is our final destination. It is popular for its crystal clear waters and stunning views across the Mediterranean Sea, with calm water protected by surrounding cliffs and forests. Below the sea stunning coral reefs and many colorful sponges can be admired. Marine life is abundant in this area where octopus, starfish, sea urchins and many other creatures can be seen.

Located between Kas and Demre lies Ucagiz Village. In ancient times it was once a Greek fishing village but it is now a popular holiday destination, with much of its charm coming from the surrounding historical ruins, olive farms, and fishermen’s houses. The Ancient City of Aperlai will be our next stop. The ancient Lycian city was once known for the dye for royal purple, produced by crushing by mollusk shells and then traded to different parts of the world. The area guarantees uninterrupted serenity and the sounds of nature and there are ancient ruins to explore. Inonu Bay is one of the most beautiful bays in the Antalya province. This blissful, secluded bay t is renowned for its high-visibility waters and diverse sea life. We will then visit Ufakdere Bay where tour members can relax in the tranquil area surrounded by natural beauty and calm waters. Our final stop for today is Limanagzi Bay, where the water has a color palette unlike anywhere else in the region.

The seaside town of Kas is our first destination for today. Well known for its traditional whitewashed houses, beautiful beaches and extravagant harbor. Antiphellos Ancient City is our next stop, it is one of the oldest settlements in the Lycian Region. &nbsp;Hellenistic city walls, remains of a temple, an ancient church, a theater, along with many historical monuments can be seen. This area is full of interesting history and beautiful scenery to admire. We will then visit Kaputas Beach, known as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. It has mystical turquoise color waters and golden sandy textures. The turquoise color of the water here is caused by the ice-cold spring water flowing from the canyon providing a refreshing swimming spot. The final stop for today is Firnaz Bay also known as Yesilkoy or Aquarium Bay, resembling an aquarium with its clear waters and shades of blue. As it is a protected area, the bay showcases peace, tranquility and moments alone with nature. It is famous for its natural mud beauty treatments, which are believed to aid in healing the skin.

Today we will start by exploring the historic town of Kalkan. The area is a unique and unspoiled oasis complete with lush nature, aquamarine clear waters, historic architecture and ancient history. It is one of the most beautiful locations along Turkey’s Lycian Coast. We will then travel from Kalkan to Firnaz Bay also known as Yesilkoy or Aquarium Bay. The bay mirrors an aquarium with clear waters showcasing many shades of blue. The protected area has a peaceful atmosphere and an abundance of spectacular nature. It is famous for its mud and mineral waters which are believed to rejuvenate and heal the skin.

The morning will start by escaping from the stresses of everyday life at Butterfly Valley. The valley gained its name from the 100 species of butterflies and moths that are native to the area. Many of these beautiful creatures can be spotted deep in the valley during the summer months. We will continue on with our relaxing day at the Blue Lagoon, &nbsp;famous for its fluctuating shades of colors, and soft sands. Here, tour members can paddle barefoot along the shoreline or swim across to the tiny island at the mouth of the lagoon. The tour will then lead us to St Nicholas Island also known as Gemiler Island. This small island is filled with the remains of five churches, and approximately forty other religious buildings, all dating between the fourth and the sixth century.

Aga Limani Bay has extremely clean waters which are cooler than many other destinations within the area. This is due to an underwater spring that provides fresh water to the bay. It is also a good location for turtle spotting. For our more adventurous guests, hiking treks are available, where Roman and Byzantine-era ruins along with a working farm can be discovered. Our journey will continue on to Cleopatra Baths where tour members can experience swimming through the ruins that lie within the water, along with exploring the ruins on the land. Legends state that Marc Anthony built a Roman Bath at this spot for Cleopatra as a wedding gift and golden sands transported from Egypt were brought here.

The day will start at the naturally sheltered Sarsala Bay, perfect for snorkeling and discovering the area's marine life. &nbsp;We will then head to Bedri Rahmi Bay, which reflects natural beauty and important historical significance. Guests can enjoy the lush pine-tree scenery and swim in the clear waters. Along the shoreline, many hidden Lycian rock tombs can also be discovered. Tersane Island is the biggest in the Gulf of Fethiye and is separated from Domuz Island by a narrow channel. It is believed that the area used to be a shipbuilding and repair harbor, so we suggest obtaining a snorkel and exploring the turquoise waters. The island also has some ancient ruins of a settlement called Telandria, which can be explored. Gocek is our final location for today, the small town within the district of Fethiye is famous for its easy boating connections on the Turkish turquoise coast and abundance of enjoyable attractions.

First on the agenda is Merdivenli Bay which is surrounded by large cliffs on either side, the area is beautiful and full of nature. We will then move along to Domuz Island also known as Prince Island. It is named after wild boars that once lived here. The island is covered in lush, scented pine trees and olive trees and there are also some hidden ruins such as ancient churches and houses, to explore. We will then visit Zeytin Island, which is covered in olive trees and has an olive processing workshop to view. Tour members can also taste the smooth locally made product. Our final stop for today is Yassica Islands which is a popular destination for Blue Cruise boat tours. The islands showcase pine and olive vegetation at their finest, and shallow swimming waters. &nbsp;Several of the islands are very close together and it is easy and fun to swim between some of them.

On the final day of the tour, we will depart from Gocek at 9:00 am. The small town within Fethiye's port city was known as Callimache in ancient times. The ancient harbor was once used to load ships with chrome ore that had been collected from mines during the Ottoman period. It is now home to many luxurious marinas, shops, restaurants, cafés, and bars along the promenade. This popular boating area has an abundance of sentented pine trees, bays and spectacular beaches to discover.
