The Gocek to Bodrum Blue Cruise provides an exciting adventure, with many historical ruins to see and wonderful bays, beaches and peaceful areas to enjoy.

Historical Sites, Fabulous Bays and Calm Sailing Conditions

Gocek is a quaint holiday town situated in the port city of Fethiye, within the district of Mugla Province. Tour members will depart at 4:00 pm. from Gocek. This natural harbor is on the edge of the turquoise coast of Turkey, and overlooks many islands and bays. It is a popular boating and sailing destination during the summer months, home to breathtaking scenery, and many venues providing cultural, historic and entertainment amenities. We will then visit the Yassica Islands, consisting of a group of five magnificant islands within the Fethiye Gulf. There are ruins to explore and it is an ideal spot for water sport lovers. Here tour participants can swim between some of the islands, the closest two being approximately 12 meters apart. This wonderful paradise is completly uninhabited, and it is believed that the devil chose one of these islands as his home when he learned he was denied entry to paradise.

First on the agenda for today is a visit to &nbsp;Bedri Rahmi Bay, which has an abundance of natural beauty to admire. Tour members can view the area's vegetated pine tree scenery and enjoy a revitalizing swim in the crystal clear waters. The bay is named after a famous painter, Bedri Rahmi, who visited in 1974. It is believed that he carved a masterpiece on a large rock in the shape of a fish, complete with six other hidden animals to uncover. Our day will conclude at the naturally sheltered Sarsala Bay. It is the perfect place for an overnight stay, where tour participants can swim, snorkel, and discover the area's wide variety of marine life.

Today we will be visiting Cleopatra Baths, where tour members can experience swimming through the ruins that lie beneath the water and explore historic ruins on the land. According to legends Marc Anthony built a Roman Bath at this spot for Cleopatra as a wedding gift and golden sands were imported to the location all the way from Egypt. We will then sail to Tersane Island, which is the largest island within the Fethiye Bay. During the rule of the Ottoman Empire, the Greeks lived here, however after their deportation there were only a few old houses and a church that remained, some of which can still be seen today.

Butterfly Valley is first on the agenda for today. Named after the 100 species of butterflies and moths, including the black, orange and white Jersey Tiger moth native to the area, many of which can be spotted deep in the valley during the summer months. Our next destination is the Blue Lagoon, &nbsp;famous for its ever varying shades of turquoise and azure, and soft sands. Tour members can paddle barefoot along the shoreline or swim across to the tiny island at the mouth of the lagoon. After a day of sightseeing, tour members can enjoy a relaxing evening at St. Nicholas Island also known as Gemiler Island where the remains of five churches, and approximately forty other religious buildings, can be explored.

Our first stop for today is Yesilkoy, also known as Firnaz Bay or Aquarium Bay. The bay resembles an aquarium with its clear waters and abundance of marine life. We will spend more time at this beautiful area later on during our tour. The seaside town of Kas is our next destination for today. Well known for its traditional whitewashed houses, beautiful beaches, extravagant harbor and historical sites. We will spend the evening at Limanagzi Bay which offers one of the best beach vibes within Kas and allures its visitors with its shimmering water. Abysmal cliffs surround the area, leaving an opening where its rocky beaches meet the cerulean sea. The magnificent water has a color palette unlike anywhere else in the region. Swimming, snorkeling, exploring the shabby beach huts and cafes, are popular activities and Limanagzi’s Lycian Way trail also adds to its uniqueness.

One of the most beautiful areas within Antalya is Kekova, and this will be our first stop for today. This natural treasure mesmerizes guests with sarcophagi in the water, sunken cities, rock tombs and a variety of wonderful bays. Our journey will then continue on to the Sunken City, which was submerged under water due to a devastating earthquake. Within this area Sarcophagi and rock tombs can be seen dating back to the Hellenistic and Roman periods. Continuing on with our historical journey will then visit Simena where Simena Castle also known as Kalekoy can be explored. It is located on a hill, overlooking the spectacular Gokkaya Bay where we will enjoy an evening of relaxation whilst gazing up at the stars.

The next part of our journey will guide us to Demre, also known as the Lycian town of Myra, which was once the home of Saint Nicholas of Myra and is well known for its production of olive oil. Abandoned Greek houses can be seen along with magnificent rock tombs. The region is popular with tourists today, particularly Christian pilgrims who visit the tomb of Saint Nicholas. Within Demre we will visit Andriace Harbour also referred to as Cayagzi Bay where huge amounts of Turkish and foreign tourists visit during the summer months to learn more about the area's past. In ancient times, it was known as Andriake Port where merchants brought their items and produce to important trading markets. Today it is the perfect place to dock and explore this exciting region. Kocakari Bay is our final stop today, loved for its crystal clear waters and stunning views across the Mediterranean Sea. Below the sea stunning coral reefs and many colorful sponges can be admired. Marine life is abundant in this area where octopus, starfish, sea urchins and many other creatures can be seen. The bay is a popular overnight spot for Blue Cruises due to its secluded and sheltered &nbsp;location.

Today will start by visiting one of the most beautiful bays in the Antalya province. Inonu Bay, which is described by many as an underwater aquarium. The secluded oasis is renowned for its high-visibility waters and diverse marine life. We will then continue on and visit another wonderful bay area. Yesilkoy, also known as Firnaz Bay &nbsp;is referred to by many as an aquarium with its clear waters and colorful blue shades. As it is a protected area, the bay showcases peace, tranquility and moments alone with nature. It is also famous for its natural mud, which is believed to rejuvenate and heal the skin.

Today we will visit the very popular Aga Harbour. This breathtaking port area is divided into two parts and is perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Due to the fresh water springs beneath the sea, the water temperature is cooler than other bay areas within the region. For guests who wish to take a short hike, it is also possible to find some interesting Byzantine and Roman ruins nearby. We will then visit Ekincik Bay, which is located on the north shore of Port Koycegiz between Marmaris and Dalyan. The quiet and tranquil area has shallow waters and wooden slopes that surround the bay. It is one of the prettiest and most picturesque areas in the region. Tour members can enjoy a peaceful afternoon sunbathing on the spectacular beach whilst swimming or snorkeling in the refreshing crystal clear waters.

The day will start with a tour of Turunc, a charming and unique little village just outside of Marmaris. Tour members can enjoy swimming in the turquoise waters, sunbathing on the long pebble beach, or exploring the quaint local shops and restaurants located around the promenade, harbor, and main street. The day will conclude with a visit to Serce Port, where glass objects were once excavated from an 11th-century Byzantine wreck. It is surrounded by steep rocks and cool, clean waters, perfect for a refreshing evening swim.

The day will start with a visit to Bozukkale. Located on a remote stretch of coastline on the southern tip of the Bozburun peninsula. Here lies the remains of an ancient castle believed to have been constructed around 700 BC. This fortress was home to a navy base, who was given the task to prevent enemies gathering within the natural harbor. The castle and its grounds were once 334 meters long, 36 meters wide and hand built with stone block walls that were more than 2 meters thick. Many lookout towers were once also present at this site allowing soldiers to see ships approaching from afar. Some restorations have taken place here, although it is clear to see the time and level of craftsmanship that was put into creating this fortress. Today along with its ruins, the area is a popular anchorage site due to its peaceful and sheltered environment and clear water clarity.

Our first stop for today is the port town of Datca, situated on the narrow Datca Peninsula on the Aegean Sea. Here we will see many sites and attractions, such as an old neighborhood with stone roads and bougainvillea-covered walls, along with quaint cafes and restaurants. The tour will then take us to Knidos Harbor, a beautiful natural harbor that was once used by the ancient Greeks and served as a trading hub during the Roman and Byzantine periods. The site includes a temple to the goddess Aphrodite, and a 4th-century B.C. sundial. It has amazing scenery of the remains of ancient Greek ruins, including an amphitheater that is situated next to the bay.

Mersincik Bay is a dramatic and eye-catching area and it will be our first stop for today. Located on the Datca Peninsula, this wonderful bay has not been affected by mass tourism and is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing morning surrounded by scented pine forest hills and an abundance of nature. Today’s tour will conclude by visiting the beautiful Orak Island. The 56 thousand square meter island is only accessible by boat and is a perfect location for swimming and snorkeling due to its pristine waters. Home to two sheltered bays one in the east and one in the north, this area is a paradise, where many olive trees can be seen on the land and an abundance of marine life can be seen in the water. It is also a very popular destination to potentially witness the magnificent loggerhead turtles.

Karaada Island, which was once ruled by the Greeks, is our first stop for today. The small island in the Aegean Sea is a hot spot for boat tours and a popular tourist destination. Our next stop is Poyraz Bay, which is a popular destination for novice and experienced divers. There are numerous rock formations beneath the water's surface, as well as an abundance of marine life such as octopus, moray eels, starfish, and several species of small fish. Our journey will then lead us into Bodrum for a relaxing evening under the stars.

On the final day of the tour, we will depart from Bodrum at 9:00 am. It is one of the most prestigious tourist destinations in Turkey and is often visited by celebrities over the summer months. Well known for hosting luxurious yachts, high-end hotels, fashionable boutiques, and glamorous cars. The tour will take us through the city of Bodrum and the Bodrum Peninsula, where tour members can see twin bays with views of Bodrum Castle. The medieval fortress was built with stones from the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus and is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The city is also a gateway for nearby beach towns and resorts that tour members can discover. This authentic region will charm members who love the sea, history, arts, and culture.
