The Gocek Blue Cruise provides an exciting adventure, filled with wonderful nature, many magnificent beaches and lovely Turkish Islands.

From Gocek to Marmaris, Wonderful Scenery and Natural Wonders

Gocek is a natural harbor on the edge of the turquoise coast of Turkey, and overlooks many islands and bays. The small holiday town is located in the port city of Fethiye, within the district of Mugla Province. Tour members will depart at 4:00 pm. from Gocek. It is a popular boating destination during the summer months, home to magnificent scenery, an impressive past and many venues supplying cultural and entertainment amenities. The tour will then lead us to Gocek Island which faces the touristic town and a small port of Gocek. The island's geographical position holds much importance as it protects the town of Gocek from most winds. This island is 2 kilometers in length, and unspoiled by mass tourism. Although nobody resides on the island there are two beautiful beaches, a lovely natural environment to explore and a quay for boat services.

Today tour members will visit the wonderful Yassica Islands, which consists of a group of five beautiful islands within the Fethiye Gulf. There are ruins to explore and it is an ideal spot for water sport lovers. Here tour participants can swim between some of the islands, the closest two being approximately 12 meters apart. This wonderful paradise is completly uninhabited, and it is believed that the devil chose one of these islands as his home when he learned he was denied entry to paradise. We will then visit Bedri Rahmi Bay, which has an abundance of natural beauty to admire. Tour members can view the area's vegetated pine tree scenery and enjoy a revitalizing swim in the crystal clear waters. The bay is named after a famous painter, Bedri Rahmi, who visited in 1974. He carved a masterpiece on a large rock in the shape of a fish, complete with six other hidden animals.

Our day will start at the naturally sheltered Sarsala Bay. It is the perfect place for swimming, snorkeling, and discovering the area's wide variety of marine life. We will then be visiting Cleopatra Baths, where tour members can experience swimming through the ruins that lie beneath the water and explore historic ruins on the land. According to legends Marc Anthony built a Roman Bath at this spot for Cleopatra as a wedding gift and golden sands were imported to the location all the way from Egypt. It is a spectacular area and the perfect location for relaxation.

We will spend the morning at Gobun Bay which is a hidden oasis, situated at the foot of the hills in the Fethiye Gulf. Surrounded by vegetated hills and calm crystal clear water. For tour members wishing to spend some time on land there are rock tombs and Roman ruins cut into the hillside towards the rear of the bay, which can be accessed by a rocky path. Tersane Island, which is the largest within the Gulf of Fethiye, is our next stop. Here tour members can enjoy the beautiful triangular shaped island and its three magnificent bays. The area is believed to have been used as a shipbuilding and repair harbor, which provides a great opportunity for snorkeling and exploring beneath the clear turquoise waters. The island also has some ancient ruins of a settlement called Telandria, which can be explored on land.

We will spend the morning at the very popular location of Aga Harbour. This eye-catching port area is perfect for swimming and snorkeling due to the fresh water springs beneath the sea, which provides cooler water temperatures than other bays within the area. Tour members can admire the beautiful natural scenery, enjoy a refreshing swim, or take a short hike to discover some interesting Byzantine and Roman ruins that are located nearby. Today's adventure will conclude by visiting Ekincik Bay, which is located on the north shore of Port Koycegiz and lies between the popular holiday resorts of Marmaris and Dalyan. This peaceful area is home to Iztuzu Beach which has shallow waters and wooden slopes that surround the bay. It is one of the prettiest and most picturesque areas within the region. Tour members can enjoy a peaceful day of sunbathing on the spectacular beach whilst swimming or snorkeling in the refreshing crystal clear waters.

Today will consist of exploring a quaint little village, relaxing and cooling down at refreshing swimming spots. We will start our day at Kadirga Bay, which is home to a fine gravel beach and is a naturally sheltered area. For our members who enjoy adrenaline-fueled activities, the steep rocks on the south-east part of the bay provides an impressive platform for cliff jumping. The day will conclude with a tour of Turunc, which is a charming bay and little village just outside of the popular resort of Marmaris. Tour members can enjoy swimming in the turquoise waters, sunbathing on the long pebble beach, or exploring the local shops and restaurants located around the promenade, harbor, and main street.

We will start our day by visiting Yildiz Island (Bedir Island), it lies slightly south of the port of Marmaris and is very popular amongst tourists due to its famous caves, scenic enviroment, spectacular views and natural walking trails. There are several small cafes and restaurants and it is ideal for those interested in swimming and snorkeling. After visiting Yildiz Island, we will continue on to Marmaris town. Here, tour participants can visit the main sites and tourist attractions dotted around the destination, including its luxurious harbor. There are also many small bars and coffee shops to enjoy along with the town's main life night street of Bar Street, located in the old town where many large clubs and swanky bars can be found.

On the final day of the tour, we will depart from Marmaris at 9:00 am. Tour members can today explore this exciting seaside resort in more detail. It is surrounded by the beautiful turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea, and there is plenty to see and do in this part of the country, including visiting Marmaris Old Town. The quaint, cobbled, and winding streets are full of vibrant flowers, small boutique stores, coffee shops, and traditional tea houses. There are also many lovely swimming spots that can be found to enjoy a refreshing swim.
