The Split Blue Cruise is a dream for history enthusiasts, many striking historical sites can be seen, and several outstanding beaches can be enjoyed.

Spectacular Islands, Ancient History and Lavish Beaches

On the first day of the tour, tour members will depart at 4:00 pm from Split. Split, is the second largest city within Croatia and a dream for history enthusiasts, rich in history across the whole city, with many archaeological sites and historical buildings falling under the protection of UNESCO heritage. Here the main attraction and heart of the city's history is Diocletian's Palace. It is one of the most imposing ancient Roman structures in existence today and is the perfect place to learn about the city's history and architecture. Tour members can find many places to explore here, and its labyrinthine style streets and wonderful waterfront are thriving with bars, shops and restaurants.

On today's tour we will travel from Split to Brac Island and Hvar Island. Brac Island is known for having some of the best beaches in the world, including the triangular-shaped Zlanti Rat Beach, Acapulco Beach, and Martinica Beach, all of which provide perfect environments to sunbath, swim and partake in water sports. Along with its spectacular beaches, Brac has many fun things on offer such as hiking to mysterious sites or visiting the Olive Oil Museum and the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. The next stop on today's agenda is Hvar Island, home to the most UNESCO heritage of any island in the world and has more sunny hours than any other in Europe. This island has it all from spectacular beaches, delicious Mediterranean food, indigenous grapes creating the finest wines and a wide variety of water and land sports. Here tour members will have the opportunity to see rich Venetian architecture and cultural heritage sites along with the iconic waterfront, also known as Riva, which is among the most luxurious on the Adriatic. Our day will conclude at the small settlement of Jelsa, situated in a bay on the north side of the island of Hvar. There are several cultural and historical monuments sights to see such as the Church of the Assumption and St John Square. The town is built around a wide natural inlet that attracts many holiday makers and visiting yachts. As for relaxing beaches there are several to visit including &nbsp;Mina, Soline Beach, and Grebisce Bay and Beach.

Today we will sail from Hvar Island to Korcula Island, which is the sixth-largest island in Croatia known for its dense forestry. Within Korcula Island tour members can find Korcula Old Town where medieval squares, churches, palaces and houses can be seen. The old town may be small but it is very well preserved, the layout and construction of the Old Town dates back to the second half of the 13th century, laid out in a shape resembling a fishbone to protect against the sea's strong winds. Tour members can visit many attractions here such as the Land Gate, Revelin Tower, Sea Gate, St Mark’s Cathedral, Town Museum and Marco Polo’s House.

On today's tour we will travel from Korcula Island to Dubrovnik. It is located on the southern coast of Dalmatia, and is the largest of the Elaphite islands in the Elaphite Archipelago. Surrounded by the glistening Adriatic Sea, Dubrovnik is also referred to as the pearl of the Adriatic. Known for its stone city walls and fortresses that surround Dubrovnik’s Old Town. It has many interesting medieval structures to visit within its walls, such as the Church of St. Blaise and the Franciscan Church and Monastery. It was once known as Ragusa and after much destruction and devastation, Dubrovnik reformed, becoming one of the most popular destinations in Croatia. It welcomes tourists during the summer season, showcasing its culture, spectacular scenery, calm crystal-clear waters, and unique history. Here tour members can delve into the city's influential historical and visit sites that featured in the filming of the Game of Thrones television series.

Today we will sail from Dubrovnik to Mljet Island. Mljet Island is one of Croatia's greenest areas and here tour members can enjoy clear sea waters, a gentle sandy shoreline and rich underwater sea life. We will also visit Mljet National Park &nbsp;where tour participants can experience the Mljet National Park Guided Tour. &nbsp;Declared as a national park in the 1960’s, this destination is a very popular location for travelers due to the two saltwater lakes of Veliko Jezero and Malo Jezero also known as the big and small lakes. The lakes were formed more than 10,000 years ago, and are linked together by a small channel, and to the sea by a larger channel. Both of these lakes have their own ecosystem complete with a special species of jellyfish, completely harmless to humans. At the big lake of Veliko Jezero, &nbsp;beautiful coral reefs can be found under the water and in the center lies St. Mary Island where a 12th-century Benedictine monastery can be seen. Both of these lakes are warmer than the sea, making them a wonderful place to swim and snorkel.

Today's tour will take us from Mljet Island to Hvar Island. &nbsp;Here tour participants will have the opportunity to explore this fascinating island in more detail. &nbsp;Hvar Island is considered one of the most beautiful islands in the world. Its geographical location, rich sites from various historical periods, and culture and natural monuments make this island appealing to many different types of travelers. Today tour members will have the opportunity to visit St. Stephen's Cathedral which was once the most important public place in the town of Hvar, here we can discover many significant pieces of historic information in regards to the ancient origins of the town. We will then take a trip to the 17th century Hvar Theater, founded in 1612, it was one of the first public theaters in Europe, built on an ancient Arsenal. The exterior of the theater has been well preserved in its original form, and the magnificent interior design dates back to the 19th century. It is the perfect place to experience the cultural history of the area and there are also various cultural artifacts on display for tour members to admire.

&nbsp;Today's journey will lead us from Hvar Island to Split. The first location that we will visit is Omis which lies at the mouth of the Cetina River and is surrounded by large gorges. Once known as being notorious for pirates, the ancient town has churches and fortresses to discover along with numerous beaches and bays, restaurants, wine-cellars and cafe bars. The day will conclude at Split where tour members can learn about the area's history and explore the many magnificent sites on offer. There are also numerous beaches available all of which offer a relaxing environment and crystal clear waters such as the sandy Trstenik Beach or Kasjuni Beach which is most notable for its spectacular views of Marjan Hill.

On the final day of the tour we will depart at 9:00 am. Split lies on the eastern shore of the Adriatic Sea and is an important transport hub and popular summer tourist destination. Here tour members will have the opportunity to explore Split in more detail. There are many things to do here such as visiting the Bell Tower of Saint Domnius Cathedral, cable cart trips leading to Marjan Hill, and taking a leisurely walk through the Old Town or the Promenade. Restaurants serving fresh seafood and several small souvenir shops can also be found.
