Istria

Istria is a peninsula located in the northern Adriatic Sea that lies between the Gulf of Trieste and the Gulf of Kvarner. This peninsula is situated within the borders of Italy, Slovenia, and Croatia, but 89% of it is within the borders of Croatia. The most popular time to visit and anchor in Istria is during the summer months, when air temperatures reach up to 82 °F (28 °C), the winds are generally light, and the waters are calm. During the summer months, the Adriatic Sea is an ideal destination for swimming and snorkeling, with water temperatures reaching 77°F (25°C).
