Livadi Bay provides excellent anchorage options for yachts of all sizes. Its sheltered and well-protected bay makes it ideal for overnight stays. The depth ranges from 3 to 8 meters, and guests can safely anchor on sandy and rocky bottoms. The bay is rarely crowded, ensuring a peaceful and serene atmosphere, though it can get busy around midday with visiting cruise boats. Be mindful of prevailing northwesterly winds, which can occasionally pick up in strength.
Beach Conditions
The beaches in Livadi boast crystal-clear turquoise waters and a mix of sand and shingle shores. The water temperature ranges from a delightful 75 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit (24 to 27 degrees Celsius) during the summer season, providing the perfect conditions for refreshing swims and water activities.
The main beach in the bay is known as Livadi Beach. It is kid-friendly, with calm, shallow waters and various beach bars and cafes where snacks and drinks can be found. It is also wheelchair-accessible and has a sea track to safely guide wheelchair users into the water.
