The Dubrovnik Blue Cruise is the perfect combination of history and nature, where many UNESCO world heritage sites and National Parks can be explored. 

Magnificent Beaches, Rich History and Charming Medieval Towns 

On the first day of the tour, tour members will depart at 4:00 pm from Dubrovnik. The city of Dubrovnik, once known as Ragusa, is located on the southern coast of Dalmatia, surrounded by the glistening Adriatic Sea. Also referred to as the pearl of the Adriatic it has many interesting medieval structures to visit, such as Fort Lovrijenac, the Church of St. Blaise and the Franciscan Church and Monastery. Here tour members can delve into the city's influential history and visit sites, such as Dubrovnik City Walls which enclose the historical heart of the city. The 2-kilometer-long structure, includes several forts and 16 towers, that were built between the 12th and 17th century providing protection from pirates and other unwelcome intruders. This beautiful city is also a well-known movie location and is home to the Dubrovnik Game of Thrones Movie Set. Its grand architecture and monuments provide the perfect setting to produce scenes with accuracy.

Today's journey will guide us from Dubrovnik to Slano. Slano has a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere surrounded by clear Adriatic sea waters. The small town and bay is located 37 kilometers north of Dubrovnik and is one of the most picturesque places within the Dubrovnik Riviera. This stunning bay area is 2 kilometers long, complete with a fine beach, lush vegetation, olive groves, and historic monuments. Tour members can discover the Franciscan church of St. Hieronymus, and see the ruins of summer homes that were once occupied by Dubrovniks aristorcacy. It is the perfect destination for exploring south Dalmatia due to its gastronomy, historical and cultural heritage, beautiful beaches, restaurants, taverns and coffee bars.

On today's journey we will travel from Slano to Mljet and Korcula Island. Mljet Island is one of Croatia's greenest areas. Here tour members can enjoy clear sea waters, a gentle sandy shoreline and a rich underwater sea life. In the north-western part of the island lies Mljet National Park full of natural beauty and nature. Declared as a national park in the 1960’s it is the first institutionalized attempt to protect an original ecosystem in the Adriatic. Here tour members can visit the salt lakes of Veliko and Malo Jezero, which are popular sightseeing and swimming spots for locals and tourists. Our day will conclude at Korcula Island, it is the sixth-largest island in Croatia known for its dense forestry. Here tour members can explore Korcula Old Town where medieval squares, churches, palaces and houses can be seen. The old town may be small but it is very well preserved, laid out in a shape resembling a fishbone to protect against the sea's strong winds. Tour members can visit many attractions here such as the Land Gate, Revelin Tower, Sea Gate, St Mark’s Cathedral, Town Museum and Marco Polo’s House.&nbsp;

The tour for today will take us from Korcula Island to Hvar and Vis Island. Hvar Island is home to the most UNESCO heritage of any island in the world and has more sunny hours than any other in Europe. This island has it all from spectacular beaches, delicious Mediterranean food, indigenous grapes creating the finest wines and a wide variety of water and land sports to choose from. Here tour members will have the opportunity to see rich Venetian architecture and cultural heritage sites along with the iconic waterfront, also known as Riva, which is among the most luxurious on the Adriatic. Our day will conclude at Vis Island, until 1989 it was off limits to tourists due to the army base that resided here. The island has two small towns, both of which are situated at the foot of two large bays. Vis town lies on the northeast side of the island and the capital of Komiza town in the southwest. Here tour members can find many mysterious bays, undersea caves, an Archaeological Museum, Fisherman’s Museum and underwater shipwrecks. The island is also a gastronomic hotspot, where many fresh fish restaurants can be found serving local delicacies such as lobster and varieties of fish pies.

Today we will travel from Vis Island to Sibenik. Sibenik is one of the most interesting cities on the coast of Dalmatia. Within this medieval town there are many things to do and see from exploring the car-free winding stone streets to visiting UNESCO World Heritage Sites, such as the Sibenik Cathedral of St. James. One of the most significant attractions is Republic Square, where tour members can sit back and enjoy the wonderful atmosphere in one of the charming cafes or visit heritage museums and galleries. The unique old town was built up a hill and with more than 2,800 steps, earning the title of the City of Stairs. Along with sightseeing there are several small boutiques and wonderful beaches to enjoy such as Beach Banj, perfect for relaxing or enjoying a refreshing swim.

Today's journey will guide us from Sibenik to Split. Our first stop will be the small town of Skradin, situated in a protected bay on the Krka River, where freshwater mixes with salt water from the Adriatic Sea. The most popular attractions here for tour members to explore are the picturesque harbor and the enchanting old town. Skradin, is also referred to as the gateway to the Krka National Park which showcases a wonderful natural landscape, and breathtaking waterfalls. We will then visit the small island of Trogir, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Europe, home to spectacular natural coastlines, tropical palm trees, and exquisite historical monuments such as the grand Cathedral of St. Lawrence and the terracotta-roofed Bell Tower to name a few. Moving on we will visit Split, the second largest city of Croatia and a popular tourist spot. The city is a dream for history enthusiasts, rich in history across the whole city, with many archaeological sites and historical buildings falling under the protection of UNESCO heritage. Here the main attraction and heart of the city's history is Diocletian's Palace. It is one of the most imposing ancient Roman structures in existence today and is the perfect place to learn about the city's history and architecture. Tour members can find many places to explore here, and its labyrinthine style streets and wonderful waterfront are thriving with bars, shops and restaurants.

Our journey for today will guide us from Split to Brac Island. Brac Island is known for having some of the best beaches in the world, including the triangular-shaped Zlanti Rat Beach, Acapulco Beach, and Martinica Beach, all of which provide perfect environments to sunbath, swim and partake in water sports. Along with its spectacular beaches, Brac has many fun things on offer such as hiking to mysterious sites including Vidova Gora, Dragons' Cave, and Blaca Monastery. Many cultural and historical landmarks can also be seen such as the Olive Oil Museum and the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. On the north side of &nbsp;Brac Island we will visit Pucisca where stone houses with paved white roofs portrays its charm and exquisite stone masonry. Here tour members can also find beaches, picturesque landscapes, coves, and restaurants serving traditional Dalmatian food. Concluding our tour of Brac we will visit Omis which lies at the mouth of the Cetina River and is surrounded by large gorges. Once known as being notorious for pirates, the ancient town has churches and fortresses to discover along with numerous beaches and bays, restaurants, wine-cellars and cafe bars.

On the final day of the tour we will depart at 9:00 am, and the tour will lead us from Brac Island to Split. Split lies on the eastern shore of the Adriatic Sea and is an important transport hub and popular summer tourist destination. Here tour members will have the opportunity to explore Split in more detail. There are many things to do here such as visiting the Bell Tower of Saint Domnius Cathedral, cable cart trips leading to Marjan Hill, and taking a leisurely walk through the Old Town or the Promenade. Restaurants serving fresh seafood and several small souvenir shops can also be found.
